"Babe if you don't hurry up you're going to be late" Lottie shouts upstairs as she can hear Lando banging and rushing upstairs, he was always packing at the last minute. This wasn't the first time Lottie was waiting for Lando. Lottie was organised and Lando wasn't, he had started getting better now that he had Lottie in his life. Lando was due to leave for race testing in Spain for the 2022 F1 season. Lottie was unable to join him due to a work event falling at the same time. She hated the fact she couldn't be with him but for both of them, their careers were important to them. They had often discussed their careers, their future and where they saw themselves in 5 years time.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" Lando is running downstairs with his bag. The flustered look on his face as he rushes about hoping he's not forgotten anything important. As Lando came down the stairs Lottie was taken back by just how beautiful he was. She knew she was very lucky to have him in her life and would always savour the moments that they had together, no matter how chaotic they were.

His curly hair hidden under a baseball cap, the oversized White Quadrant hoodie and the black jeans, paired with his black and white Nike trainers. Lottie and Lando had been in a relationship for around 10 months and Lottie would often stay over at his place in Woking. Lando never minded having her around; he liked the company, especially since his best friend Max had moved out. Lottie didn't live far but shared a house with her friend Jess and it meant Lottie and Lando didn't get much privacy when staying at Lottie's. They'd had an incident when Lando first stayed over that Jess to this day still says it has scarred her eyes.

As Lando reaches the bottom of the stairs, he sees Lottie jingling her keys, impatiently waiting for him to be ready. Lottie would be dropping him off at the airport, well at least she hoped she would be if he was ever ready.

"You got everything?" Lottie looks at a flustered Lando, standing opposite her . He lets out a big grin and nods his head. Lando leans forward placing his delicate soft lips on Lottie's. He literally sent her crazy, the chemistry between them was unreal and she had never felt a love like this before however she was still getting used to his crazy public life. They finally break free from the kiss and Lottie feels a little sad that she won't be able to experience that feeling for the next 4 days. When they first got together, it was ok at first him been away most of the time. She would go to as many races as she could but her career had finally started to take off, so the race appearances were getting less and less. However she just couldn't imagine not having him around, even though they had only been together a short time, it just felt right. Lando made her feel safe, they had common interests, he was supportive of everything Lottie does and she was always supportive of Lando.

"Yes, I have everything, we can go now" Lando heads for the front door. He looks back to see Lottie putting on her coat. He quickly observes her natural beauty, how her hair was flowing freely, the little look she does in the mirror to make sure her collar was sat properly. He would never admit it out loud but he always missed Lottie a lot when they were apart. He would have done anything to have her with him at all times but knew her career meant so much to her.
"Wow Lottie, I'm sick of waiting for you" Lando says sarcastically, he watches as she quickly turns around and lands a playful punch on his arm. "Ow'' Lando grabs his arm, his arm numb from the punch Lottie has just landed on him. They were forever winding each other up and that's what made their relationship fun and light, they were like kids but this made their relationship strong.

"Come on" Lottie pushes Lando out the door and towards the car before turning back and locking the front door of Lando's house. Lando pulls a face at Lottie's car, he hates it. Lando was used to driving high performance cars whereas Lottie's trusty 16 plate blue Mini Cooper was all she could afford but the car was still reliable and something Lottie took great pride in.The car was something she had saved for such a long time, something she independently saved and bought without any help. Lando opens the boot of the small car and throws his bag into the small boot and slams the door shut before heading to the passenger side of the car. Lottie stands watching Lando slam the door shut.
"Babe, don't slam the boot. You would kill me if I did that in your car" It's true Lottie once caught her bag zip on his car and it left the smallest mark and Lando didn't speak to her for an hour, he was too busy sulking.
