Seventy

"I'm going to miss you this weekend" Lando places his arm around Lottie looking down at her as they begin their goodbyes at the front door. 
"I'll miss you too" She looks up at him. 
"She's only going for two nights" Max jokes as he comes in to the hallway. They both shoot Max a look. "I'll put the bags in the car" He coyly picks up the bags placing them in the lime green BMW. 
"You sure you don't want to take the G-Wagon" Lando looks to her, still holding her tight. 
"No I'll take mine. I'm not sure how long I'll have it, so be nice to drive it" She smiles to him "Or is it because you don't want me to drive fast?" 
"No...No." Lando tries to defend himself "Just take it easy baby" 
"I will. I'll message you when I get there" Lottie steps on her toes to place a kiss on Lando's lips. The spark between them still strong as ever. 
"Love you baby" 
"Love you too, bye" Lando watches as Lottie heads out to her car, saying goodbye to Max before starting the car. She revs the engine slightly, she watches as Lando expression turns serious, she chuckles to herself as she slowly drives out the driveway. 
"You soppy bastard" Max looks to Lando who sadly watches her drive away.
"It's called love Max. You should try it" He playfully pushes Max in the arm. 
"Right come on, we've got a nursery to decorate" The boys head in to the house and up to the new nursery. 

Lottie arrives two hours later at Lando's parents. As she pulls in to the drive she sees the door open and can see Flo and Cis heading to her. 
"Lottie, so good to see you" Flo comes over excitedly hugging Lottie. 
"Oh my gosh, look at how big my niece and nephew are getting" Cis smiles to Lottie. 
"Tell me about it. One of them is currently sat right on my hip" Lottie pushes at her side hoping the baby will move. 
"I'll grab your bags, you can head in with Cis" Flo smiles. 
"Thanks Flo. I appreciate it." Lottie places her arm around Cis "Where's your mum?" 
"You'll see" She smiles to herself as they head in to the house. "This way" Cis guides Lottie to the orangery and out the back in the garden. 
"SURPRISE!!!"
Lottie looks to see her loved ones stood in front of a tipi. There was Flo, Cis, Cisca, Sav, Hannah, Jess, Tracey, Maggie, Kelly, Isa and Charlotte. Lottie stands in shock not fully aware of what's happening. Cisca heads over to her. 
"Lottie darling, welcome to your baby shower." 
"Wow Cisca, I don't know what to say" Lottie hugs Cisca, still looking shocked. 
"Lando helped plan it" Flo adds. 
"Maggie!" Lottie squeals. She hadn't seen her friend in such a long time. She heads over to her placing her arms around her tightly. 
"Lottie look at you" Maggie looks at her growing bump. "You are glowing. Gosh I'm getting emotional" 
"Don't you'll make me cry. I thought you was still away." 
"I am. I'm only here for the weekend but when Lando told me what he was doing, I couldn't miss it" 
"I can't believe he kept it a secret from me" They are now joined by Hannah and Jess. "Guys. I love you" She pulls both Hannah and Jess in to a big hug. 
"Argh I'm getting crushed by babies" Hannah chuckles, both Lottie's and Jess bumps squishing Hannah. 
"Come on, I ain't that big" Jess jokes. 
Lottie heads over to Kelly, Isa and Charlotte. 
"Thank you so much for being here." Lottie hugs them one by one. 
"It was all Lando's idea" Kelly smiles. 
"He wanted to make sure that you got some special treatment after his crazy season" Isa hugs her. 
"He really is a good one Lottie, hold on to him tight" Charlotte adds.
"How did I get so lucky" Lottie beams with pride. 
"Can everyone gather in the tent, we have some food to serve" Cisca shouts. 
The group of girls gather, with various food been served they chat and enjoy each others company. 

Meanwhile, Adam and Ollie had arrived at Lando's. They entered the house to see Max and Lando painting, covered in paint. 
"You're supposed to get paint on the walls, not on you" Ollie jokes. 
"I've never painted before" Lando laughs. 
"Right what do you want us to do?" Adam looks to the boys. 
"Well we've just finished painting, so we just need to wait for the delivery of furniture it's due in the next hour. When it get's here, Dad would you take the pram to Zac's?" 
"Ergh, yeah sure" Adam looks confused. 
"Lottie has heard a superstition you shouldn't bring a pram in to the house without a baby in it, she's insistent we take the pram to Zac's" 
"I wouldn't argue with her either." Max warns.
