Lottie woke next morning and Lando's side of the bed was still empty. She gets up placing on a hoodie and her sliders, heading to Dan's room. She knocks quietly as it's still early. After a minute or so, Dan comes to the door squinting confused as to why Lottie was at his door.
"Lottie, it's too early"
"Sorry Dan, I'm here to see Lando"
"He's not here" He looks at her confused.
"Oh has he left already?"
"Last time I checked he was your boyfriend so he should be with you?"
"He messaged last night to say he was here?"
"Well unless he's hiding somewhere he's not here"
"Sorry Dan I must have got it wrong. I'll let you get back to sleep. I'll see you at the track"

Lottie walks away, a knot in her throat. Why had Lando lied? She gets back to the room and see's Lando getting changed in the room.
"Hey" He looks to her.
"Hi, how was sleeping at Dan's"
"Good but he snores. We ended up watching some films and then I fell asleep on the sofa. I'm going to jump in the shower and then we can go for breakfast" Lottie watches as he heads in to the bathroom and closes the door.
Bam, her heart just broke. Dan seemed truthful when he said Lando wasn't there, so where had Lando stayed and why did he lie? Why did he stay out in the first place? She wipes the tears from her eyes, quickly getting changed and heading back out. She wasn't ready to face the truth just yet, was Lando cheating on her?

Lottie starts heading downstairs, she planned to head to Kelly's thankful that her and Max lived in Monaco and she could go to them without been watched. As she enters the lobby, she sees Ava stood on her phone. Lottie takes a deep breath, Ava was not the person she wanted to see today.
"Good Morning Ava" Lottie politely says, deep down she just wanted to ignore her.
"Oh, Lottie, Hi" Ava looks up from her phone, blushing at the sight of Lottie.
"You ok? You're up early?" Lottie asks.
"Actually Lottie, can we go talk?"
"Yeah sure, I was just heading out for coffee, want to join me?" As much as Lottie didn't like Ava she wasn't a confrontational person. They both walk in silence to the coffee shop down the road.
They enter the small coffee shop, ordering a drink and sitting at the table.
"So what's up Ava? " Lottie looks at her taking a sip of her coffee.
"Lottie, I know we've not always got on but I admire you."
"Thanks Ava, that's nice of you to say. I thought you didn't like me"
There's an awkward silence.
"I didn't want to tell you like this Lottie but I think you should know the truth" Ava looks up at her.
"Know what truth Ava?" Lottie looks at her, hoping that what Ava is about to say is not what she thinks it is.
"Lando...Me and Lando stayed with each other last night. I'm sorry Lottie"
"I'm sorry, I don't follow" Lottie takes a gulp, her throat had become dry even though she had been sipping on her drink.
"Come on Lottie I know you're not stupid." Ava's tone had changed and was more dominating and sly. "We all know I'm what's best for him. I can give him what you can't" Ava lets out a subtle smirk.
"And what's that Ava?"
"I can give him children. He's told me himself he wants nothing more than to have a family, something you can't give him. I come from a wealthy family, my family and his family are a like. You don't fit in this world Lottie"
"I don't believe you Ava, Lando would never do that"
Lottie watches as Ava turns her phone and shows Lottie the photo.

There it is on Ava's phone, Lando laid in Ava's bed. Just like Lottie's heart is ripped out her chest, all her senses are non existent. She doesn't respond to Ava, she grabs her bag and leaves swiftly out of the café. Ava left smirking to herself. Lottie leaves the coffee shop turning down the alleyway to the side of the shop, bending down behind a bin out of sight. She could feel her chest getting tight, she had not had a panic attack in so long and then bam her heart breaks and she can't function as a human being. Lottie felt like tiny little shards of glass had torn right through her, how could Lando do this? Time goes by and Lottie controls her breathing, taking time to breath in through her nose and out through her mouth. She knew what she needed to do.
She stands up, dialling a number and waits for the person to answer.
"Hi, sorry to call you. I really need your help"
"Sure. Come to my apartment and we can talk"
"I'll see you soon"

Lottie ends the call heading to a different part of town to the multi floor apartment. She heads to the 11th floor, and knocking gently on the door waiting for the person to answer. As the door opens Lottie bursts out crying.
"Come in Lottie" The person grabs her taking her in to the apartment and closing the door. Lottie cries a painful cry cuddling in to the person. After some time, she composes herself to talk to the person.
"I'm sorry to bother you but I had no one else I could trust" Lottie says wiping her tears with a tissue.
"What's going on Lottie?"
"I found out this morning that Lando has cheated on me with Ava. I just don't know what to do, I have no one." She sniffles, realising she truly is alone. She has no family, Jess and Hannah is currently in Milan and Maggie is currently helping on a project in South Africa.
"Lottie, how do you know?"
"Ava showed me the picture of Lando in her bed. He didn't come back to the room last night and he lied about where he stayed. She told me that Lando want's children and I'm not even sure I can give him that"
"Oh Lottie, I'm so sorry" The person hugs her tightly.
"I have no one Zac, I know your his boss but I have no one, I have nowhere to go. I don't know what to do."
"As much as I'm his boss Lottie, I'm your friend too"
"Thanks Zac"
"Lottie, I need to tell you something. I know this is probably not the right time but it's never been the right time" Zac pulls away, turning to Lottie.
"What Zac?"
"Erm I'm not sure how to say this. Your foster mum Lily, she...she was my...half sister." He gets up heading to a photo in the corner and returning handing it to Lottie. There in the photo is Zac, Lily and Lottie at a park.
"But, I- I don't understand. Surely I would remember this moment?"
"Lottie I think deep down you do remember, that's why we got along so well. We spent a week together, this is when the photo was taken. I was planning on coming back for the summer but then I was told Lily had died. I tried to find you but I couldn't. Then the first moment I met you, I knew. I knew it was you"
Lottie looks down at the photo trying to remember. Memories flash of Zac chasing her around with a water gun as Tracey and Lily sit on a picnic blanket laughing.
"I-I do remember. You were chasing me with a water gun. Tracey and Lily were sat on a picnic blanket laughing"
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you Lottie, but I will protect you now. You must have so many questions"
" I do"
Lottie and Zac talk for hours. Zac had rung the team to say he wasn't able to make it to the track today as he wasn't well. Zac explained how him and Lily shared the same father but often stayed in touched. How much Lily thought of Lottie and her plans to adopt her.

Lando had arrived at the track after unable to find Lottie. He notices Tom in the distance and heads in his direction.
"Tom, have you seen Lottie?"
"No, not since yesterday. Why?"
"Oh nothing. I must have missed her. If you see her can you tell her I'm looking for her"
Lando leaves heading to the garage.

"Lottie what are you going to do now?" Zac looks to her as she cuddles in to his side.
"I can't give him what he want's Zac. He want's children and I'm not sure I can give him that. Maybe that's why he cheated as he knew that I couldn't give him them. He might have been looking for a way out"
"No matter what you decide Lottie, I will support you"
"I have no where to go Zac. I moved in with Lando and Jess no longer lives in the UK"
"Move in with me and Tracey, we have a house on the estate that is sitting empty. It's far enough from Lando but you will still be close to things"
"Zac, that would be perfect. I don't know what to say"
"I lost you once Lottie. I don't want to lose you again. It's what Lily would have wanted"
"I'm going to head back to the UK now, I don't want to see him. I just want to get my stuff and leave"
"We will do just that. I will come with you and we will arrange removal services"
"Thanks Zac"
