*During Yrsa's Nap*

I gently let go of Yrsa and roll her over. I'm super careful not to wake her up or hurt her wounds. She mumbles a bit but that's usual. I need to make sure my boys are alright. I also want to get a good beating in on that fucking prick.

I walk out and sneak my way back into the testing room they had Yrsa in before. I look through the window to see that it's empty. Where did they go? A lightbulb goes off in my head. They most likely went to the balcony.

I get into the elevator and make my way up. Sure enough, I see the boys and him. I walk up to him and see his condition. A black eye, bloody nose, and a busted lip. They left me just enough to work with.

I immediately start kicking him in the stomach. I normally don't believe in kicking people when they're down, but that doesn't apply to people who are fucking scum. I don't stop kicking until he coughs up blood.

He wheezes as he tries to regain his breath. I probably broke a couple of his ribs, but I don't really care. I know that makes me a monster. I thought I had left these days behind me, but I'd do anything for Yrsa. Anything.

I pull out my gun and put it to his head. He pleads for his life the best he can. He can barely talk. I press it into his skull as I get in his face. I feel the anger radiating off of me. I hate this feeling. This isn't who I am.

"Now, I'm only going to say this once. You leave Yrsa, her family, and her friends alone. Don't talk to them, come near them, or even breathe around them. I suggest you get far away from here. You got it?"

He nods his head. I hit him with the butt of my gun and put it back in my pocket. I tell the boys to get him out of here. I don't care how or where, I just want him gone. I want him away from Yrsa.

I go back to the elevator and head back down to Yrsa's floor. I find a bathroom to wash off my hands. By some miracle, there isn't any blood on my clothes and shoes. I wash off the gun and throw it into a nearby trashcan. It was a fake gun anyways. It wasn't loaded with anything either.

I go back into Yrsa's room. She's sleeping so peacefully. I notice her mom sleeping in a chair. I grab a pillow and a blanket. I set it up so she can be more comfortable. Those hospital chairs are not the best for anybody's back.

I lay back down with Yrsa. I play with her hair while she sleeps. She rolls back over and lays her head on my chest. She's right where she belongs. I kiss her forehead and see a small smile appear on her face.

*Present Time*

Yrsa and I share a passionate kiss. I look deep into her eyes and I can see the pain and worry behind them. It'll probably be a while before I see the glimmer in her eyes again. I'll do my best to make it come back.

"Bear, where is he," she asks abruptly.

"Those guys from before, they're friends of mine. They're dealing with him."

"Do you know where they're taking him?"

It's just then we hear a commotion coming from outside the door. The intercom comes on and alerts everybody to a "Code Gray". Adelaide wakes up from all th noise. Yrsa and I give each other a knowing look. I get up from the hospital bed and Yrsa follows.

"Princess, let me take care of this."

"No."

"Excuse me?"

"No, Bear. I'm going to confront him. I know you want to protect me, and I truly appreciate that, but I need to get my closure."

I back off and nod my head in understanding. I don't want to see her in pain, but the rage behind her eyes tells me she won't be the one getting hurt. We walk out through the crowd of people and see beyond the glass doors.

He's punching, kicking, screaming, and fighting my boys with everything he's got left in him. I see Yrsa ball up her fists and her arms start to shake. I try to calm her down, but nothing. She is a big, beautiful, untamed fire.

We walk out of the doors despite everybody's protest. We reach the showdown happening in the parking lot. Suddenly, everything stops and they all turn towards us.

"Well, isn't this a nice surprise. Did you decide to come crawling back," he says with a smug grin.

I honestly thought he wouldn't be brave enough to speak with me here. I guess I was wrong.

"Enough," Yrsa says coldly.

"Oh, I'm so scared," he mocks.

I take a step forward but Yrsa holds me back. I sigh as I step back beside her.

"I am done. I'm done with the taunting, mocking, beating, hurting, and all the shit you've put me and my family through. You're nothing to me. I'm going to tear you apart and watch you break. I'm going to do even worse shit to you than you did to me."

"Careful, you might want to put a muzzle on your bitch," he says to me.

This sets Yrsa off. The ticking time bomb of her anger finally explodes. She tackles him to the ground and starts wailing on him.

"Let's see how you fucking like it. How does it feel to be beaten? Huh? You don't have anything to say now, do you, fucker," she screams in his face.

I know this is probably fucked up, but Yrsa has never looked more beautiful than she does right now.

"'You are worthless. You're a good-for-nothing piece of shit. You are the lowest form of any living thing. You're fucking dead to me.' Do you remember saying all those words to me? Right to my fucking face while you beat me? How does it feel? HOW DOES IT FEEL!"

She gives him one last good hard punch. His face is worse than when my boys and I were done with him. She gets up and spits on him.

"I'm not letting you have power over me anymore. You don't get to control me. What little power you thought you had is fucking gone. If I ever see you again, it will be the last damn time."

Yrsa's words send shivers down my spine. I never knew she had a side like this. She walks over to me and holds my hand. I look down at her with proud and loving eyes. I look over at him, practically lying lifeless on the ground. My boys continue to what they were doing and Yrsa and I walk back inside like nothing ever happened.
