Last Time:

There might be a good reason for all of this, but Percy didn't like the smugness he saw in the green eyes when he watched Harry gaze at the article ...

"So he's learning quickly?" RazorBlood asked, eager to learn about his client's recovery so far.

Pandora smiled at RazorBlood and the healer seated in front of her floating form, "Adrian has easily zipped through the muggle subjects. It took him a little time with the magical subjects, but now he seems to grasp it and is advancing quite fast."

RazorBlood nodded, "Adrian managed to get to year 4 before being expelled from Durmstrang. Do you believe it feels like he has done this before?" RazorBlood asked, wanting to know if the teen was simply bright or was unknowingly tapping into old information.

"Partly." Pandora commented, taking a moment to ponder over her interactions with the teen so far. "It definitely felt like he knew the muggle subjects. At the rate he's learning with one on one teaching it is fast, but it feels less like he's learning it a second time."

The healer looked concerned, "You avoided the sex education topic, right?"

The ghost nodded seriously, "I thought it'd be best for you to explain that considering it overlaps with his injuries." Pandora reassured before turning back to RazorBlood. "I even slipped in an advanced herbology book normally meant for 6th year students in most schools to see if there was a difference. He seemed to pick it up at the same speed. Adrian is a wonderfully curious young man!"

The healer, Alex, noticed the goblin glance their way, "Oh! Right! My assessment. Well ... It's not too surprising. In fact, suddenly having old memories become fresh is common. Cursed fire does scramble the mind in odd ways."

After tapping his claws on his desk in thought, RazorBlood nodded, "Of course, we don't know what he was doing after being expelled. He could've been studying on his own. Taking his studies in his own hands is why he was expelled in the first place. Some subjects don't need a wand so his wand being snapped after being expelled might not have done much if his interests lie with one of those subjects." RazorBlood said thoughtfully, recalling the boy's words from a couple years earlier.

Apparently, the teen used to think the classes were pointless and took his studies in his own hands by skipping classes and using other students as potion and DADA test subjects. Thankfully, no one was badly hurt. However, no one liked the action. Everyone agreed that the young wizard was bright, but shouldn't be around other students thus the expulsion. RazorBlood always thought the boy just needed a more one on one arrangement, but the boy refused before.

If it wasn't for Adrian's late grandma opting out of making any decisions involving magic when he first started school then the goblin would've asked her. However, Adrian's late grandma wasn't comfortable making decisions for the young wizard when she knew nothing of magic. In fact, everyone let the boy tell his muggle grandma about the expulsion since it didn't have a financial drawback. In the end it was the young wizard's choice.

"How he is emotionally and physically is the most important thing now." RazorBlood said calmly with a snap of his claws. A few stones in the wall shifted revealing a shelf carrying several little artifacts. "If you approve, Alex, then perhaps it's time to get him a new wand. I'll switch the vines in his room to rehab mode and he can start building his strength again." The goblin said and picked up two artifacts from the shelf.

Alex grinned excitedly and took the two artifacts. The smallest looked like a small box with a glass lid and something tiny was rolling around inside. While the largest one looked like a gorgeous colorful full face mask.
