Last Time:

No one wanted to risk killing the person the dark lord wanted ...

Voldemort stared at that purple crescent shaped scar around Adrian's eye. It took a minute for the reveal to sink in. In fact, he even reached out and touched the taller wizard's head.

Adrian smiled, "Still want to pick my mind?" He asked, knowing full well he proved himself too valuable to get rid of and the nature of his curse could actually prove useful here.

A few moments of stunned silence passed. Voldemort had no choice but to accept defeat. Not that he'd admit it. In fact, when Peter groaned in pain, he decided to change the subject completely.

"What is a loyal wand?" Voldemort asked with a subtle glance at Peter.

Now Lucius winced. He forgot about the brat's wand. When he dragged Adrian to the Malfoy manor he took it. However, he actually didn't intend to let the young wizard live after fixing the cabinet for a second time so he snapped that wand and threw it away. He destroyed the very wand Voldemort wanted! ... or so he thought.

"It's a wand that has a deep bond with its owner, never leave their side and will never accept another owner." As Adrian said those words he held his hand out. Everyone watched in shock as the thorny bracelet crawled obediently into his hand and became a wand. "Much more respectable than a wand that jumps from hand to hand like a restless partner once their lover loses their usefulness. Don't you agree?"

The wording made the corner of Voldemort's mouth twitch. When put like that it made the elder wand sound like a hussy and Voldemort couldn't help but agree. However, when he saw Adrian give him a playful smirk and, without any orders, the wand slithered to the floor where it waited like an innocent wand, he realized this was a demonstration.

"Peter." Voldemort saw the bloodied wizard strain himself just to look up. "Everything will be forgiven if you pick up that wand."

Desperate and suffering from blood loss, Peter foolishly grabbed this opportunity. He painfully crawled to the smooth innocent looking wand and grabbed it. Even the Death Eaters flinched at what happened next ...

Instantly the wand's thorns came out. In fact, the thorns recognized that the unwelcomed hand wasn't its master's and made its thorns longer and sharper to properly impale Peter's hand. It even shot a thorn right into the fool's eye. As Peter screamed the wand pulled its thorns inside itself effectively freeing itself. In a very sassy move the wand shook any blood off itself like a wet dog would shake off water. It wasn't concerned with flicking blood onto those closest to it, Voldemort being one, and immediately raced back to cuddle up on Adrian's wrist.

Voldemort flicked the blood drop off his cheek as he casually watched the life leave Peter, "I'll stay in touch with you."

Adrian simply put his mask back on, where it melted onto his skin and covered the scar. Narcissa also knew that comment was a dismissal and nudged Draco's arm. Despite being a bit shy he got the hint and guided Adrian out to a floo.

Bellatrix grinned once Adrian left and ran over to Narcissa, "I want a homicidal wand! Cissa, buy one for me! Please!" She begged and tugged at her sister's robes exactly like a child.

Narcissa chuckled, "If our lord approves of it I'll get you one for your birthday." She said calmly as she patted the insane woman's head, making Bellatrix squeal with delight.

Voldemort ignored the exchange, "While he refuses to actually join us he's not refusing to give us a helping hand." He commented and glanced at some Death Eaters named Rodolphus and Rabastan. "Guard him. No one harms him, but don't leave yet. Bellatrix, be a dear and autopsy Peter. I want to know what poison was in those thorns," The two wizards obediently bowed as Bellatrix cheerfully skipped over to Peter to start the autopsy ... Yes, right in the middle of the floor. "Severus, choose three people to assist you. I want to know everything about that young wizard, especially about how he got cursed." He ordered, still feeling irritated that he couldn't get the boy under his thumb because of that curse. If he can't cage Adrian then he'll torture the bastard who cursed him.
