Last Time:
If anything, his guard's determined gaze only got stronger when the magical guardian, Dumbledore, finally arrived ...

It started out like any other night for the Knight Bus. Soon it got a little interesting. After all, it's not every night that a goblin comes with a teenager onto the bus. Granted, the teen, who said his name was Adrian, seemed perfectly polite. About 2 minutes after dropping off that pair at a crystal shop the real excitement started.
After the next couple of stops, a kid with a big black dog and a big hat, which covered much of his face, tried to board the bus. Emphasis on tried. Just before the kid stepped on the bus a man came up behind him and grabbed him.
"Let me go, you bastard!" The kids screamed as he tried desperately to kick and even bite the guy.
The ruckus alerted even the most exhausted passengers. However, when they started getting off the bus to help, something floated out of the man's pocket while he tried to keep the boy from getting away. It was an Auror badge!
"Everyone, I'm agent Maze. Please carry on with your-" The passengers gasped in horror as the kid, not the kid's dog, bit down on the Auror's finger drawing blood. "Young man, this is no way to act." He hissed through the pain.
While he didn't say the boy's name for the boy's protection, it was too late. The boy struggled so hard the hat flew off giving all the passengers a clear look at the green eyed boy. That lightning bolt scar especially gave everything away.
Harry finally took his teeth out of agent Maze's flesh, "This isn't fair! Court appointed guard or not you can't keep me trapped in the house! It's cruel enough that you won't let me use magic or even read the Daily Prophet and I was forced to take a muggle job!" Harry screamed as he kicked trying to get the Auror to drop him. When it didn't work he shot a pleading look at the people on the bus, but they all seemed to be shocked or annoyed with his behavior. The black dog just whined and moved closer, but wasn't sure how to help.
"That's the definition of house arrest and no magic is the rule especially in muggle areas. Now I am sorry, but you can't struggle like this or I might drop you." Maze said right before using wandless magic to stun the boy. "You shouldn't be running around at night anyway. Merlin knows what psycho might try to hurt you." He chastised in a completely calm manner.
The stunned boy sneered as his limp form was picked up and draped over Maze's shoulder, "I'm Harry Potter. I can take care of myself!" Harry growled hoping the stupid people on the bus would finally realize who he was and step in. None of them did. In fact, they had the nerve to give him sad looks. "Don't pity me! My magical guardian is Albus Dumbledore!-"
The dog barked, but it clearly realized that whatever it wanted to say wasn't getting through, since Harry didn't shut up, so he shifted into a human, "Harry, you have to shut up. These aren't details everyone needs to know." None other than Sirius Black said. Suddenly, Maze grabbed his shoulder and apparated away. When they appeared in the Dursleys' living room Sirius glared at Maze. "You should've done that sooner!"
"It's not my job to keep him from throwing a tantrum. I'm here to keep him safe and since you interfered again by helping him out I will report you. It's one thing to sneak him a newspaper, but this? Unacceptable." Agent Maze said calmly as he plopped Harry onto the couch and canceled the stunning spell.
Sirius immediately sat next to Harry and held him comfortingly, "It's ok, Harry. I know you don't deserve this."
Maze scoffed, "He's a child who broke a serious rule. He's being treated like everyone else in such a situation."
