Last time:

Tom felt Adrian catch him and leaned against the strong chest, "I want your children."

XXXXXXXXXX

A moment passed before Adrian fully understood the dark lord's word's, "I can't give you a child and there's a reason you can't carry a chi-"

Tom looked up into Adrian's warm eyes, "That will be rectified soon. Your artifact will make it even easier, correct?" He asked while touching his own chest.

"It will." Adrian answered, genuinely surprised that Tom wanted to fuse his soul back into one whole piece, but he came back to reality and glanced at Draco. "This can be discussed later." He said pointedly, hoping Draco and Percy would alright with this sudden development.

"Of course." Tom looked at Lucius, who flinched. "Bring me the diary I told you to keep safe." He said, but in his eagerness he turned to Bellatrix before seeing all the color drain from Lucius' face. "Bellatrix, bring me the Hufflepuff cup."

Bellatrix licked the salty buttery residue off her fingers and gave the popcorn l to her sister, "You got it! Be right back!"

"Severus better not be busy." Tom commented and went to organize a little hunt for his soul fragments.

When Tom was out of hearing range Narcissa went over to her pale husband, "Dobby! Where is the diary?"

The faithful house elf immediately appeared and gave her the old diary, "Dobby found it in the master's office." He said before leaving.

"Is something wrong, honey?" She asked Lucius, very suspicious of her husband's fear and now ... confusion? Why did it feel like he was shocked that the diary he was entrusted with was in the manor?

"Nothing. I'm just stunned by what happened." Lucius said much calmer than he was a moment ago. Blaming the kiss for his flustered state wasn't that convincing, but Narcissa let it be for now and went to help Tom search for the other strange items.

Adrian smiled and leaned down to Lucius' ear, "Bringing back the diary was a smart idea on my part. It could have been a life and death situation if I didn't. Wouldn't you agree that you owe me?" He whispered so softly that Draco couldn't hear.

Lucius opened his mouth to tell Adrian off, but then felt his magic react. A shimmering magic thread of his magic connected him to the younger wizard and became invisible almost immediately. In other words, Adrian succeeded where Lucius failed once before ...

"That, Lucius, is how you get someone under a life debt." Adrian whispered before turning to Draco. "What happened before wasn't planned. Are you ok?"

Draco scoffed, "I'm not surprised. Tom was going to do something sooner or later." He said, smiling when Adrian kissed him on the forehead. "Perhaps you should go inform Percy that you have a third now."

Adrian smiled sheepishly, "I did leave in a hurry and left him in the shower no less so I should go explain."

"Shower?" Draco asked while eyeing a love bite on Adrian's neck. It was clear that Adrian implied that he and Percy were getting all kinds of hot, steamy and wet before coming here. "What kind of shower were you guys taking? Looks fun."

"You'll see yourself when your birthday arrives." Adrian said simply before using his gloves to floo back home.

Draco smiled, but then frowned as he glanced at his father, "What happened?"

"I accept your relationship! Give him plenty of children!" Lucius yelped right before running off ...

Obviously, Draco was completely shocked. The Malfoy heir did spot the glitter of magic and suspected this involved a life debt, but his father seemed very frazzled. A bit too frazzled even with the circumstances. However, there may be a reason. After all, Draco didn't know the full story.
