Last Time:

Harry gaped, his barrier was up so how was he detected and why now?

Pandora smiled as she looked at the glass flask Adrian was etching markings into, "So this is one of the experiments you are working on?"

"Yep!" Adrian chirped as he finished the mark. "Working at Borgin and Burkes and training with Professor Edmond made me curious about a lot of things." He set the blue flask with a long skinny neck and reached down to his bag on the floor. "I think this should be a good and safe way to remove a ghost and allow them to talk- ... Professor Pandora?" He blinked when he sat back up and noticed his professor was gone.

"Hey! It's really cozy in here!" Adrian immediately looked down at the flask and saw a tiny Pandora floating around inside. She pushed against the glass and gasped. "I can't go through! Fascinating!"

Adrian chuckled as he put a matching glass stopper, which is what he grabbed from his bag, and closed the flask, "I did some research and found that there are rumors that ghosts get trapped in mirrors so I picked a tough glass used runes that reflect pressure. My theory was simply that the ghost inside would be pushing against themselves instead of the glass and wouldn't be able to get out. I wasn't sure if it'd work though." He commented as he removed the stopper letting Pandora out.

A distinct quill on parchment sound was heard. They turned and noticed RazorBlood standing there writing something on his clipboard. Suddenly, Adrian wondered if he did something wrong.

After a moment the goblin looked at his client, "I'm going to give you some more papers to sign to claim that idea as yours. Just to make it easier on me, could you give me a list of the projects you're working on so I can have papers ready if it's deemed successful?"

"Umm ... ok?" Adrian said, not thinking he did anything all that impressive. "I was thinking of a different style of floo transportation that won't require a fireplace, making a soul vessel made of flesh like a real body, but won't have dark magic involved and I'm studying some books on wand making."

As he listed the things off he started thinking it'd be far too ambitious to focus on all of them. The only reason he had more than one going at once was because he couldn't force himself to focus on one project for too long. Bouncing back and forth from each project just helped him think. In the end that's all that matters, right? They don't all have to work so he won't overthink it.

"A diverse set of projects." RazorBlood commented casually, but he was definitely making notes on each of them for future documentation. His client has already proven very capable so he was going to prepare for that and not assume the worst. The goblin was starting to believe that this goal focused nature was what was helping the teen avoid the downside of the curse.

"Don't be afraid to keep us in the loop." Pandora warned. She got curious and did experiments on her own before. It resulted in her death and she was a full grown adult so she feared the teen might do the same. "It'd be safer here for testing, ok?"

Adrian nodded, "Of course-" Another goblin rushed into the room and spoke with RazorBlood in their own language. When that goblin left RazorBlood looked almost amused. "Is everything ok?"

The goblin scoffed, "Just a colleague having trouble with his underage client and asking me to help negotiate with the ministry. I'll have to leave. May your gold ever grow."

"May your gold ever grow, master RazorBlood." Adrian responded politely and watched the goblin leave. "I wonder why the ministry is involved." He mused as he packed up his etched bottle.

Pandora sighed, "This happens at least once every time the schools let their students go for vacation. There's always a first year or other underage student foolish enough to try using magic around non magical places. They think they won't get caught, but they always do."
