Ch: 15 Gaurdian of Civilization

Bae returns to her wounded friends, Kronii was still desperately holding onto May. Fauna was the first to notice Bae's return, with a pained and defeated look on her face.

Bae: "...s-she got away. I'm sorry guys, I-I…"

Fauna went up to Bae understanding how she must have felt and gave her a comforting hug. Bae grabbed Fauna's robe, she desperately wanted to cry at that moment. But with how much damage and already weakened state, they need to keep their priorities in order. Taking in a deep breath holding back the intense chaos within her, Bae lets go of Fauna.

Bae: "Hows May doing?"

All turned to Kronii, who looked the most defeated and yet she smiled. Such a broken and lost smile, it almost destroyed Bae's heart. The being who was the most confident and headstrong out of all of them, was reduced to what Bae could only call a "desperate widow".

Kronii: "May will be fine, we all agreed to bring her to Omega.. If none of use can heal May, then Omega surely will."

Kronii turned to look at May who was frozen in time, not dying nor was she living. Kronii saw that May had a stray hair and moved it out of her face.

Kronii: "Don't worry May, y-you will be just fine… I promise. A-And when you wake up we all can go berry picking just like we talked about doing."

Bae hated how sad and defeated her friends looked, Fauna looked like she was about to break down and cry, Sana looked like she was about to destroy the entire universe with just one swing of her fist, and Kronii couldn't stop smiling as she let out broken laughs. As for Bae, Bae couldn't even begin to understand her own emotions, were they emotions of joy, rage, or sadness? But there was one thing that she felt like doing, and that was to start another war on earth. The thrill of that thought alone boiled her blood with excitement, and she hated herself for such a feeling. Bae buried that feeling and emotions deep down inside her, and smiled a hopeful smile to her friends.

Bae: "Well, if we're saving May's life then we best get going, right?"

The friends nodded in agreement, Sana opened a gateway portal to the castle that Omega built as their homebase and resting place. The concepts enter the portal leading into Omega's throne room, all in hope to see their creator awaiting their arrival. Only to find that there was no one there waiting for them.

Bae: "Omega are you here?! Please show yourself to us, we wish to plead our case!"

Kronii: "Please! Our friend May doesnt have much time left to survive. If anyone can save her life, it's you!"

The group of friends heard nothing but sighlents, starting to panic that their creator was nowhere to be found nor heard. That was until they heard heels clicking down in a nearby hallway, as it was heading right toward the friends. Everyone turned their heads to see a new and unfamiliar face being revealed. Everyone jumped into a battle stance worried that they might have another battle to fight.

Bae: "Who are you and Where is Omega?!"

Now seeing the girl in full view, Bae could feel the chaos inside her calm down as her heart skipped a beat the moment she laid eyes on her. This girl was probably the most beautiful being she has ever seen. She had long silky purple hair, dressed up in black, purple, and white clothing, and had two sharp horns on top of her head. The girl walked over and stood next to Omega's throne without missing a beat.

Girl: "Tsukumo Sana, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, and Baelz Hakos… I am sorry to say this to you but, Omega is no longer with us. If you wish to seek gaudence then I can only say to ask yourselves, however if you seek a miracle then I will be of service."
