Ch. 12 Battle for Atlantis pt.2

By Fauna's side, Gura fell to her knees in pure horror. Nature's Keeper was heavily wounded from Darkness attack. Fauna slowly turned her head and smiled, happy to see that her little contractor was still safe.

Fauna: "Gura, I'm happy that you are safe but you need to be with May right now. It's too dangerous for her to be left alone right now."

Fauna then tried her best to stand up as she pulled out her weapon. Causing other wounds to open up and slowly heal.

Gura: "May told me to…"

Fauna: "Gura don't worry what May told you to do. I told you to stay by her side, she needs to be protected."

Gura: "I Can't Leave You Like this Fauna!"

Gura couldn't control her tears as they continued falling. Fauna was so much like a mother to her, she couldn't understand why Fauna was pushing her away like this. Fauna then used her trident to pull herself up only for Gura to catch her. Gura then took notice that Fauna's injuries were not healing like they should be.

Gura: "Fauna, why aren't you healing properly?! What's wrong?"

Fauna: "Cough! It probably has something to do with Darkness's powers. I need to…"

Before she could finish what she was about to say, Fauna then faints into Gura's arms. Worried on what to do, Gura decided to take matters into her own hands.

Gura: "Don't worry Fauna, there's a med bay nearby. I can get the doctors to help you. I promise once I get you there, I'll return back to May's side and protect her and the other humans just like you said. Just hold on OK."

Gura wiped her tears away and ran back to the Temple to get Fauna's wounds treated as quickly as possible. Gura pulled Fauna onto her back, while using the trident as support. The young shark girl ran as fast as she could back to the temple. Gura couldn't help but smile as soon as she saw the temple.

Gura: "Look Fauna, we're almost there!"

When suddenly a large piece of a building came flying into the temple, and crushing everyone who was inside it. Pieces of the temple flew in every direction, with some flying towards knocking into Gura. Causing Gura to fall to the ground in pain, causing her to drop Fauna. Gura placed one of her hands on her head as if to stop the pain. Gura's blood began to run down her face, stinging her eyes, as she looked in horror. The building that was supposed to be a safe place for people to take shelter was no more.

Gura: "...no. No! We were so close! May said this would be a safe place for everyone on this side! And Fauna, she's…"

Gura turned to look at Fauna, who wasn't fully healed yet. Gura started to panic, she couldn't decide what to do. Her breathing became heavy and hard to breathe. Gura could feel her heart rate beating faster and faster. Thoughts of everything that was happening were starting to drive her crazy. Only then she saw Fauna's trident and heard Darkness's mighty roar once more. Gura couldn't help but laugh at how simple the answer to her many questions. She grabbed the trident and stood laughing with insanity.

Gura: 'KiLl!kIlL!kill! KILL!!!'

Gura's blue streaks of hair quickly turned blood red along with her eyes. The voice inside her head screamed and clawed at her, telling her to kill the beast that came to destroy them. The smell of blood from every direction, caused Gura to grow thirsty.

Gura: "HAHAHAHAHA!!! I.WILL.KILL.YOU! AND YOUR BLOOD WILL BE MINE!"

Gura ran toward the Dragon, summoning three large water megalodon to attack the hydra tearing off head after head. The concepts were surprised by the sudden attack. Sana and Kronii were pleased to see a friendly face. However Bae could see that Fauna's contractor was not the same that they knew. She was shrouded in chaos not seeing friend from foe. Farel Gura then threw her trident towards Sana only to be quickly knocked away by Bae.

Kronii: "Gura what do you think you're doing!?"

Gura growled at Kronii only to then laugh with a toothy grin.

Bae: "She's consumed by Chaos, she doesn't know friend from foe."

Sana: "Can you calm her?"

Bae: "You can't calm Chaos, she can only ride it out."

Kronii: "Great! As if one wild monster wasn't enough. We can't continue on like this, Darkness is already too close inside the city. We can't falter here, we need a plan!"

Sana and Kronii argue back and forth on what to do, while Bae kept her eyes on Gura. Bae then returns the same chaotic smile back at Gura.

Bae: "How's this for a plan, the three of you do what you can with Darkness and I'll handle this troubled Shark, you don't mind. Right Fauna?"

At first Sana and Kronii were both confused at Bae's comment. Only see Fauna's sudden arrival. Fauna wasn't at her best, but she still had strength to fight.

Fauna: "We'll do our best Bae, but if you can please don't…"

Bae: "Don't worry, we're just going to have a little bit of fun. How about it, Gura? 1v1 me Bruh!"

Gura smile at Bae's challenge and summoned her trident back to her hand and called off her megalodon. So began round two of their fights. Kronii summoned a haste spell onto her body drawing her two blades once more and quickly attacked the Dragon. Doing damage stronger no more than light cuts. Kronii started to curse her own weakness, only to remember that May told her that she was strong. Returning her own courage, and she kept up her attacks and not slowing down. Fauna then summoned large roots from her grand tree and pinning Darkness to the ground with it. Then Sana grabbed a hold of a few of its heads and tore them right off.

Kronii couldn't help but grin, they were finally causing damage to Darkness. But her friends were doing so much already and yet she still felt like she was doing so little. What else could she do? Then without realizing, Kronii was left open for an attack by a stray head.

Sana, Fauna, Bae: "Kronii!"

There was no time for her quick thinking. Kronii could only embrace for the impact, when suddenly a loud cannon fired knocking the head away from Kronii. Everyone turned towards the shot, only to see May standing next to one of Atlantis cannons.

May: "You Leave Humanity and Our Concepts Alone!"
