As the lights went up at the night club, stage hands pulled on ropes and maneouvred an oversize birdcage above the stage.
The audience watched as a spotlight hit the cage and a figure inside began to dance to a pounding disco beat.
He was short but athletic and dressed head-to-toe in leather. His hair was pulled back by a leather thong and his face disguised by a leather mask.
Women and men looked on hungrily as he gyrated.
None more hungrily than the light-haired young man in the front row....
Several women and man had already propositioned him, attracted by his slim but muscular physique and the contents of his form-fitting jeans. But the man had eyes for no-one but the dancer....
The audience sighed collectively as the dancer unlaced his jerkin and
threw it down. His bare chest glistened with sweat and his muscles rippled.
The crowd surged forwards and several reached up towards the cage. But the dancer was out of their reach...
A the music changed he writhed and stooped to pull off his leather thigh boots. The spotlight played over his well-proportioned legs and shapely feet.
At least two women in the crowd put their hands under their dresses and touched their bodies.
The light-haired man shifted uncomfortably and wriggled in his skin-tight jeans....
The music grew louder as the dancer threw back his head, howled, unlaced his leather shorts and stepped out of them.
The panting, sweating audience got a final view of pert buttocks and a well-filled leather codpiece. Then the lights went down....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
While the stage hands were hauling the cage back down, the light-haired man passed a $5 bill to one of them. The man nodded and moved to open the cage.
The light-haired man reached inside and lifted the dancer over his shoulder.
"We have to stop meeting like this!" Peter gasped, straightening up and heading towards Davy's dressing room.
Davy grinned. "Oh, I dunno. It's certainly better than the broom cupboard!"
