Lavender and Will had eventually split up. The Munson girl found herself looking in one of the toilets, and listened carefully for any small movement. Lavender could feel her palms sweating, and her body shaking in fear. She came upon one of the stalls, and hesitantly pushed it open.
Her eyes widened when she saw the baby demogorgan, she shakily brought the walkie talkie up to her mouth, her eyes not looking away from the creature.
"Guys, I found him" She said.
"Where?" Asked Dustin.
"In the bathroom by Mr. Salerno's" She answered lowly.
"Copy that" Answered Mike, and then it was silent. Lavender took a deep breathe, and slowly stepped towards the little thing.
"I-It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you" The girl said. But not even a second after she said that, the baby demogorgan let out a high pitched screech, causing her to jump back and drop the walkie talkie. The teen ran out of the bathroom and into the hall, where she tried to calm herself.
Soon, the lights began to flicker making Lavender grow extremely nervous. She both left and right, and noticed how it suddenly grew dark and cold. Her breathing picked up, as tears stung her eyes.
Although her eyes widened when she saw this massive black cloud coming down the hall, and in her direction. Lavender quickly bolted down the hall, and out the back.
The girl ran as fast as she could, away from the black dusty cloud. Eventually she came to a stop in the middle of the school field. She closed her eyes, and tried to calm her breathing, She remembered something that Eddie told her when they were younger.
"Whenever you have a nightmare, don't run away. You need to stand your ground and face the monster. And when you do, you need to say "Go away. Go away!"
Lavender opened her eyes, and slowly turned to the monster which had now formed into a giant creature. The monster let out a screech, as it started moving closer to her.
"Go away!" She said, but it wasn't loud enough so she tried again.
"Go away! Go away! Go away! Go away!" She cried out, but it didn't seem to do anything. The creature screeched again, as it darted towards her like a twister and engulfed her. Lavender let out a choking sound, as the black dust entered into her body. Her body remained frozen, there was no way she could stop this.
