I promise that it was not my intention to abandon this book. A while back I was asked for a genuine proposal, now I shall deliver. However a bit short and a bit rushed, my apologies once again.

Footsteps trailed behind them as the sea washes them away without a trace. The breeze gently grazing their hair as their hands interlocked; swaying slowly as they walked. It was a very important night for the both of them; their anniversary. Deciding on taking a trip to the first place they had journeyed together over anywhere else. It was the place in time that set everything in motion.

They stopped at a nice, empty space along the coastline, setting down the large beach towel. Rantaro laid his head on Korekiyo's shoulder, wrapping his free hand around him. Korekiyo smiled lovingly behind his mask, stroking his lovers hair. Neither of them spoke, they never had to in order to enjoy each other's presence. That was until Rantaro pulled away.

"Do you remember our first time here?" He spoke quietly watching the rising moon's reflection dance against the glistening waters.

"But of course. That is why we came here, yes?" Rantaro nodded as he pulled out something from his backpack.

"Yeah, guess that was a dumb question. I wanted to show you this. I put this together for us." He handed him a book with a black cover. Rantaro scooted closer to him as he watched.

Korekiyo opened it, memories hitting him almost instantly. It was a scrapbook with polaroid photographs of them. Every moment, and every adventure they've had since their first meet was all in that book. All the pictures from the trips they've taken, to their graduation photo from Hopes Peak Academy, to their first date. Everything was there, all four years of their friendship and love.

"Taro, this is!-" He couldn't finish his sentence, for once he was truly breathless. Rantaro leaned against his shoulder once more, trailing his hands around him and his hands.

"Yup, it's all here."

"It's beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you." Rantaro placed a kiss at his neck, turning to face him, he held Korekiyo's hands.

"Nothing could be as beautiful as you, dear." Korekiyo responded kissing the palm of Rantaro's hands as he cupped his cheek.

"We've come so far, haven't we? Look at all of this." Rantaro started, as they flipped through the book, fondly looking at every line. "We've grown so much, together, and apart. You were a big part of that." Korekiyo chuckled lightly.

"I mean it, I would've been so lost without you. You believed in me when everyone else said that I should give up. You stayed by my side through everything, you helped me find my sisters. You helped me find, well... me. I've never been more thankful before."

"You took the words right out of my mouth dear." Korekiyo looked longingly into his eyes, Rantaro looked back. He held his hands and knelt.

"Kiyo, I need to tell you something. May I?" He nodded in agreement, staying silent as he let Rantaro gather his thoughts.

"I love you, more than a lot of things. You're my best friend, my travel partner, my actual partner. I want to continue traveling with you, I want to make more memories to put in this book. More importantly, I want to keep growing with you, keep improving." He let out a small sigh.

"We don't need this to be together, I know, but of you want it to be official official too, then we can. Either way, I love you, I want to give you the love you deserve and be there for you. Just like you always do for me."

"What ever are you saying, Rantaro? You've always done all those."

"Heh, guess I should've practiced or something. Oh well." He chuckled, pulling out a box from his pocket. "Korekiyo Shinguji, will you be just one more thing for me, my husband? Will you marry me?"

Rantaro sat in silence, anxiously but patiently waiting for his response. Korekiyo didn't answer, instead he pulled down his mask and embraced his lover tightly. Pulling him into a loving kiss.

"Oh my dearest Rantaro, of course I do!" He couldn't contain himself, it was worth all of it. The happiness, the pain, the beautiful parts, the ugly parts, every moment with Rantaro was worth it.

"Whew, you worried me for a second." Rantaro laughed wholeheartedly, laying down on the towel on top of Korekiyo. They sat up as Rantaro slid the ring on Korekiyo's finger, in turn he did the same.

"My beloved Rantaro, there's not a language in this world that could begin to describe how much I love you."

"Aw, I love you Kiyo. Wait!" He nearly shouted pulling out his polaroid camera from his bag. Korekiyo chuckled quietly, knowing exactly what he was planning. He shuffled himself next to him, the waves, the moon, and the stars all nice in view.

"To new memories!" Rantaro smiled  wrapping his arm around Korekiyo, holding the camera in the other. Korekiyo left his mask down, leaning against him.

"To new memories.."
