I've been writing a lot of angst so here's some happy, wholesome fluff. Also, I'm not good at writing good relationship stuff, my apologies for being repetitive.
______________________________________"Darling, wake up."
Rantaro tossed away from the hand that was gently shaking him.
"Come on Rantaro, it's already twelve thirty. You've been sleeping for thirteen hours."
Rantaro groaned lazily.
"Five more minutes...."
He heard a soft chuckle.
"Must I suggest I drag you out of bed instead?"
He was met with no response, he must've feel asleep again. Korekiyo shakes his head as he pulled the covers off of his husband. Rantaro cringed at the warmth that was taken away from him. Korekiyo gently picked him up, cradling him in his arms. Rantaro wrapped his legs around his waist and cuddles closer to Korekiyo's chest feeling the warmth.
"Taro, wake up. I made you breakfast."
He was met with another lazy groan.
"If you wake up and eat we can cuddle on the couch afterwards, deal?"
"Deal." Rantaro said without hesitation.
Korekiyo carried Rantaro to the kitchen, setting him down on a chair near the table.
Rantaro rubbed the tiredness out of his eyes and stretched. A cup and a plate settled in front of him, full of his favorites. He thanks Korekiyo for the meal as he chows down happily. Korekiyo smiles and turns to wash the dirty dishes.
Once he's done, he takes Rantaro's plate and cup and finishes them off too. He turns off the water and wipes off a bit of syrup from Rantaro's face. Giving him a little peck on the nose.
"Thank you for breakfast Kiyo. Sorry for being difficult this morning."
Korekiyo smiles but sighs.
"I know what you want. Alright dear, let's move this to the couch."
Rantaro was ecstatic, with a smile bigger than Kokichi's. Minus the malice of course.
They head over to the couch and settle in. Wrapping arms around each other, pulling each other in for a passionate kiss. They pull apart and Rantaro starts chuckling.
"What's so funny?"
"This." Rantaro said smirking.
He lays himself down on top of Korekiyo's chest, holding him in place.
"W-What are yo-?"
"You need a break Kiyo. You don't give yourself time to rest. You deserve some downtime baby." Rantaro said snuggling against Korekiyo's neck. Korekiyo giggles.
"Alright then, I see now. I suppose I'm trapped either way. Such a shame." He made sure to make the last part as dramatic as possible.
"Ha ha very funny."
"You know you love me."
"True. Very true." Rantaro said defeated.
They sit there for a while, enjoying the comforting silence.
"I wonder, is the reason you wouldn't wake up is because you knew this would happen?"
"Nah, I'm just at that point of life where sleeping thirteen hours is my new lifestyle."
"But I definitely don't mind how this morning went." Rantaro smiled.
"You're silly."
"You're handsome." Rantaro responded smugly knowing that Korekiyo loved being called that.
"W-What ever do you mean?" He mumbled with his cheeks red.
"C'mon Kiyo, you know that you're handsome. I mean just look at you. Everything about you is just so beautiful, you're like a piece of art that's priceless." He kisses him again.
He almost couldn't respond, getting so flustered.
"You are also handsome too. Humanity may be beautiful, but I'm afraid none of it compares to you my dear."
They curl up with one of their blankets and held each other. They ended up falling asleep again, ending off their calming morning. Safe and warm in the arms of their beloved.
