A NEW BEGINNING

WHEN CHAERIN FIRST opened her eyes, she expected to be in a hospital or even in hell at the very least. She could’ve sworn that she died that night.

But then why did she wake up in a nice, cozy bedroom that reminded her of a room she always wished to have. Even the light scents in the air seemed familiar and homey.

“I see you’re finally awake, Chaerin,” a soft feminine voice, void of emotions, called out. Looking at her right, Chaerin saw a small furry wolf with a boring expression, staring at her expectantly.

“H-huh? What, wait-did I just get isekaid or something? I thought it happened in fanfictions and animes-“

Cutting short her rumbling, the little white wolf spoke, “I do not know what you mean by ‘isekaid’ but yes, you have been reborn in another world. If you remember, you wished for a new chance at life…the Owner decided to accept various of your requests as well.”

“So what I witnessed back then was not a dream,” Chaerin mumbled, reaching up her hand to scratch her cheek.

Wait, why was her hand so small?

The female looked at both of her hands, they were quite smaller than what she remembered.

“Hey, um-Runa?”

“Yes Chaerin.”

“What age am I? Like in this world-?”

“Eleven years old, your birthday is on October 11th as always. And your name is still Chaerin Hyun. Get ready and I shall give you a tour of our new house and further elaborate on any queries you might have.”

With that, the little wolf skipped out of the room, leaving behind a flabbergasted Chaerin. Snatching her clothes, she sighed softly.

“I guess I really am starting a new life…surprising how I’m not too shocked, is it because of my skill?”
