HUNTER ENIGMA
“JIN-AH, I’LL BE going out for a while, you good alone?” Chaerin asked, putting on Jin-woo’s black hoodie since she left hers at her place.
“Yeah, I’ll be busy working out the cheats you gave me anyway!” Jin-ah waved a hand, absorbed in her favorite otome game.
“Mkay, good luck!”
Chaerin put on the hood and moved outside. Stepping outside, she realized that it would be best to hurry up before trouble arrives.
“Ventus.”
The wind elemental leader appeared in a gush of wind, bowing to his mistress with a breezy smile. “You called, mistress Chaerin?”
Chaerin’s face was serious, her eyes glowing a soft purple. “Transport me to the dungeon Jin-woo went too. You saw him going there, right?”
“Yes mistress.” Ventus held Chaerin’s arm as the two disappeared in a breeze of wind.
Baek Yoon-Ho was staring at the red gate which had appeared, a grim expression on his face. Just then the wind picked up and a figure appeared next to him, startling others around him. He didn’t react much, as he was used to sudden intrusions caused by Hunter Enigma.
“Welcome, Hunter.” He nodded, looking back at the red gate. Chaerin nodded as well, also staring at the red gate. The crimson light have her an ethereal glow, her purple eyes contrasting beautifully with the bright red.
Just then a car stopped near them, a large, bulky figure emitting bloodlust got out of it.
“I definitely heard it was a C-rank gate. Did it turn out to be an A-rank?” A sinister smirk grew on his hideous face.
“Why is the precious master of the white tiger guild here?” Glancing at Chaerin, who was glaring at him with sharp purple eyes, he added, “I see the little Enigma’s here as well.”
If it were a few years before, he would’ve cowered in front of her and acted like a respectful mutt. But now he was part of the scavenger guild and believed that Thomas Andre wouldn’t leave her alone if anything happened to him. However, he still didn’t go too far because the young girl’s bloodlust was something to be afraid of.
“Hwang Dong-su,” Chaerin drawled, boredom lacing her voice with a slight tone of venom. “What brings you here?”
“I’ve come for some business, but I didn’t expect to see you both here. Korea sure is small.”
“Just answer the question,” Baek Yoon-Ho growled, his eyes glowing and hair crackling with white electricity. “Why is a man that should be in United States back in Korea and doing business in the white tiger guild’s area?”
