HIDDEN QUEST

.“WHY’S THIS PLACE SO BUSY?” Jin-woo wondered out loud, trying to spot the cause of the commotion from behind a crowd of reporters.
“Wait let me see,” Chaerin replied. She used her gravity skill to make herself float enough to use her far sight skill. Jin-woo waited for her as he held her leg so that she doesn’t end up floating away, again.
Chaerin scrunched her nose in distaste. “It’s that Lee Min-Sung idiot, y’know that actor who’s trying to show off by throwing away his career to become a hunter?”
“All of this just for an actor?” Jin-woo pulled Chaerin down because she was about to float away. The girl landed down and groaned. “I guess we have to push through, or we won’t be able to reach the association’s building.”
Jin-woo took Chaerin’s hand and pulled her with him through the crowd, making sure that she doesn’t bump into anyone by holding her waist as well.
“Hey! What the…!”
“What’s with them?!”
The reporters stopped shouting out loud when Chaerin gave them a sharp glare, now only grumbling amongst themselves. A bodyguard blocked their path in front of the doors.
“Hey! Who are you?! Don’t you see there are reporters gathered here?!” he barked, looking down on the two. “You can’t just pass through them!”
“We’re here because we have business with the association,” Jin-woo answered nonchalantly. Behind the bodyguard, Lee Min-Sung gave the two a bored look.
“YOU CAN’T PASS THROUGH HERE SO GO AWAY!”
“On whose authority are you trying to send them away,” a leveled voice stated from behind, surprising everyone. It was the chairman. “These two are our guests.” Then he turned to Lee Min-Sung, “Mr Lee Min-Sung, I’m sure you know who allowed you to hold a press conference here?”
Lee immediately backed off, stuttering like a nervous wimp. Chaerin smirked as she followed Go Gun-hee inside with Jin-woo. Inside, they met Baek Yoon-Ho and Choi Jong-in, who bowed respectfully.
“They arrived here an hour ago and been waiting for you since,” Go Gun-hee said to Jin-woo. They walked ahead, Go Gun-hee conversing with Jin-woo as he did so. Then he turned to Chaerin, “Ms Hyun Chaerin, are you ready to announce your identity? I remember you mentioning it before.”
“Yes, chairman.”
“Very well.”
Up ahead they met with a man who was to assign Jin-woo a class. Chaerin remembered what confusion the association had to go through in order to sign her one, in the end deciding on Assassin.
“Before we start the evaluation, we’ll need to confirm your abilities to assign you a class. What kind of abilities can you use?” The man with the round glasses asked in a professional manner.
