JEJU ISLAND RAID
“HEY, ISN’T THAT SUNG JIN-WOO?”
Chaerin glared from under her hood at the person who spoke, causing him to scurry away in fright.
“Damned assholes,” the girl grumbled, grinding her teeth at the rude comments she read about Jin-woo on the internet. The girl pressed the pads of her fingers on the screen, typing away colorfully eyestraining insults with speed. “I’ll destroy your bloodline, you fokin bich-“
“Oi, no more cussing,” Jin-woo snatched Chaerin’s phone and kept it above her. Chaerin pouted, crossing her arms with tick marks appearing on her face. She held a small staring contest with Jin-woo, soon giving up when he didn’t react.
“Fine.”
The two were going to meet up with Jin-ho who had called them to their new office, because they were building their own guild.
“Isn’t this a bit too big for the three of us?” Chaerin asked uncertainly, looking around the spacious area.
“Nope! We needed a guild master, a sub-guild master and an employee, and we have it!” Jin-ho answered cheerfully, seeming proud of himself. It was true, however.
‘But doesn’t Cha Hae-in have to show up soon as well because she wanted to join the guild?’ Chaerin thought to herself, running a hand over her hair.
She felt extremely stuffy, taking off her jacket as she paced around. ‘Maybe she will come, since she saw Jin-woo in action herself…oh well, I can’t mess up the storyline more than I already have…I mean, I haven’t done anything wrong yet so it’s okay as long as I don’t create too many problems.’
“Ah, there was a person who wanted to meet you both, Hyung-nim, Chaerin-sunbaenim.” Jin-ho fished out a piece of crumpled paper from his pocket and handed it to Jin-woo. Chaerin walked towards him to see the contents of the paper.
“Who was it?” Chaerin asked, already suspecting the answer.
“It was a foreigner who spoke English. He said to contact him as soon as possible as he stays here until 17th September.”
Jin-woo straightened, sensing something and started to disappear in black wisps.
“Jin-woo, where are yo-“ Chaerin inquired, reaching out a hand. Jin-woo turned to her, quickly pecked her forehead before muttering, “I’m going home.”
Just then a shadow soldier took his place, completely catching Jin-ho off guard and scaring him.
Chaerin was pissed though, he just left her there like that!
“That’s it! I’m leaving as well, Jin-ho, gnight!” the girl yelled before rushing ahead and jumping out of an open window. Jin-ho let out a silent shriek, his arms flailing around as he walked towards the window weakly and looked down.
