5.3. To The Island (bts - afternoon)

Let's just say that most of the journey this morning. I was too busy asleep. If I'm being honest though. Most of us were asleep. I really only woke up when we had to leave the RV to go up to the main deck. And thankfully there was a cafe on board. Which was perfect for Grace and I. We made sure that it was our first stop. "So, tell me what happened last night. I know exactly who you were with last night and you can't lie to me. Because he confessed it this morning." I said to her as we sat down with our coffee. I have no idea where the guys were but they were most likely together.

"We went out on a date. And by that I mean, we literally got lost for an hour, found a restaurant and then tried to find our way back." She said to me and I looked at her and sipped my coffee.

"You got lost. I mean that's not exactly hard for you." I said to her and she lightly hit my arm. I then started laughing.

"I have no idea how it actually happened. I mean it was dark. How did you manage to get to that restaurant and back the other day?" She asked me and I looked at her with my head tilted to the side.

"I used to go to that restaurant all the time when I was here the last time. So I remembered a lot of landmarks." I said to her and she looked at me.

"So, you were just remembering stuff straight away as you were walking?" She asked me as if she wasn't believing what I was telling her and she should believe me.

"Yeah, it's not hard. It's like autopilot mode." I said to her and she looked at me and nodded her head before taking a sip of coffee.

"Not bad." She said to me and I shook my head at her.

"But how was the date?" I asked her and started wiggling my eyebrows making her laugh. She then started shaking her head at me.

"It was really good. He's actually really sweet and it was really good. But did I already say that. When we got lost he was making sure that he was the calm one as I was too busy freaking out. Who knew, that streets looked the same at night." She said to me and that was when it was officially my time to start laughing at her.

"It's called it's dark, if you didn't have a light with you then it's all going to look the same near enough." I said to her and she started laughing with. Understanding what was happening and what she was saying.

"You have a point. Now, tell me. What happened with you and Hyunjin last night?" She asked me and I smiled at her before drinking some of my coffee and remembering what exactly happened last night.

"He decided that he was going to get me a personalised present for my birthday." I said to her with a smile and she leaned in even closer with me.

"You can't just leave it as that. What is it?" She asked me and I looked at her with a smile.

"He decided that he was going to draw me. And he did. Only with pencil so far buy he's said that once this whole thing is over he's going to paint it on a canvas when he gets back home. He's then going to gift it to me." I said to her and she smiled at me. I knew exactly what she was thinking.

"That'll be a nice story for your kids one day. 'Yeah, so one day on your mums birthday is decided to draw her and that's the painting.' Of course it will have more of a story though. Like behind the reason as to why your in an RV." She said to me and I shook my head at her.

"You are gonna have the same stories one day trust me." I said to her and she shook her head at me. Once we finished our coffee's we went up to the main deck.

"Oh, I have an idea." She said taking my hand and taking me to the end of the deck. "Titanic it." She said to me before I put my arms out and she put her arms on my waist.

"I'll never let go Jack. I'll never let go." I said to her and I could see Jisung and Changbin laughing at us from the corner of my eye. We then went over to them. "Don't act like you two didn't do it." I said to them and they then looked at each other.

"He did it with Minho earlier." Changbin said calling Jisung out and Grace and I started to laugh at Jisung look around.

"Who did, it wasn't me guys. I promise." He said to us making us laugh even more.

"I'll believe you but most wouldn't." Grace said to him and he looked at her and nodded. He then put his hand up for her. She then gave him a high five.

"Thank you for believing in me man." He said to her and he looked thankfully for that. But deep down we all knew what the correct truth was between them all. Knowing that we all still had hours left of this ferry was draining. All I wanted to do was to be back on solid land again. Especially since I never really did too well on the water.

"Quick question, I never asked." Grace said while looking at me.

"Ask away." I said to her and she looked at me.

"Where are we staying in LA and Montreal?" She asked me and I looked at her. Was she forgetting about how many rooms those places had.

"Everyone is staying at mine. It's not like I don't the rooms for everyone." I said to her and she nodded at me. She was probably glad about that. All I knew was this Ferry was definitely being as slow as it could be.
