16. Slipped Up

When I woke up this morning I knew that had to go and go work. Just did one radio show and go to my classes. I managed to escape Hyunjin's grip before heading downstairs and making breakfast. Cooking for 5 would be a challenge. "Y/n, let me help babes." Jer said to me and he came over to help.

"Thank you my love. Honestly I was not expecting to cook so much." I said to him and he looked at me with a smile on his face.

"It's okay. We got this. You've got work in like 6 hours." He said to me and I looked at him as I was doing the egg.

"But we've got class in 2." I said to him and he looked at me.

"Shit. I forgot." He said to me and that's when we started cooking faster. When it came to a point to where breakfast was done.

"Guys, hurry up. You've got to be at school in an hour. You better be all washed and ready to go. Breakfast is ready!" I shouted the stairs and that's when I heard a stampede of feet running towards the bathrooms. That's when I saw Hyunjin appear at the top of the stairs.

"What's going on?" He asked in a sleepy voice. That's when he started coming downstairs.

"Morning rush. The kids have to be ready in twenty minutes so they can eat breakfast and get on the bus to get to school." I said to him as he walked down the stairs.

"I didn't realise we'd be up so early." He said to me and I looked at him.

"Well, eat some breakfast and try and get some sleep." I said to him with a smile and I kissed him.

"I'll do just that." He said and he wrapped his arms around me. He then helped me and Jer out with breakfast.

"Kids. Come on." I shouted again and that's when they started coming down stairs.

"It's the last day of term and non-uniform and it took you guys a lifetime. If you needed styling help. You could've requested my services." Jer said to them and they just shook their heads.

"Y/n, have you done our lunches?" Mahina asked me and I looked at her and nodded.

"Of course. Did them last night before we went out." I said to them. That's when I started feeding the dogs before finally feeding myself.

"What time will you be back?" Hyunjin asked me in a whisper and I looked at him.

"About 6pm. Jer will be back at 1. If you miss me. Put the radio on." I said to him a smile on my face. Breakfast went by quickly. Just like the day. Until it got to my work day at Radio 1.

"I think we need to give a big warm welcome back to Y/n. Although she's leaving again." Jordan said and that's when everyone started clapping.

"Hey, I'm just getting you prepared for when I do a world tour." I said to him and he looked at me. Shaking my head.

"I was at the premiere last night for the new season. It was a lot of fun. Apart from what you pulled on the carpet." He said and that's when I started laughing. "Tell the listeners what happened." He said to me and I was still laughing.

"Basically. Me and Jordan have a running thing where we try and pull pranks on each other. And last night I took this tiny water pistol to the red carpet. And I sprayed Jordan from behind and his reaction was too funny." I said whilst laughing. Jordan just wasn't impressed at all.

"Although the rest of the premiere was really nice. I managed to meet Y/n's partner and watching the show you can see the chemistry- - I didn't mean to say any of that. This is Without Me by Halsey." He said and that's when I started to panic. And I knew everyone else would. Jordan took his headphones off and looked at me. "Shit. I'm so sorry." He said to me and I looked at him and nodded.

"It's ok. I'm sure that not everyone tuned in and even if they did. They wouldn't know who it is." I said to him and that's when we continued the show. Once it was over that's when I saw all the tweets come out. All the articles talking about it. When I got home I saw Hyunjin instantly and hugged him.

"What's this about?" He asked me and I shook my head not wanting to say.

"Babe, is this about the tweets and the show?" I heard Jer ask and he put his hand on my back. I nodded.

"What happened?" Hyunjin asked not knowing.

"Jordan accidentally slipped up and said that Y/n was dating someone from the show. That was a guest on it and everyone's trying to guess who it is and the majority are saying it's you. So there's a lot of backlash. For the both of you." Lono said speaking up from the table.

"Oh, okay. Well, me and you will get through this together. I know that my management will want to talk about this and then we can come out and tell people." Hyunjin said and I looked at him.

"But I'm scared. What if people hate too much." I said to him and he looked at me. Brushing a strand of her from my face.

"Then we just have to remember that our love is stronger." He said and he kissed.

"Stop making me feel so single." Jer said and he walked off. I was glad to have Hyunjin in my life. He was what I needed.
