When it came around to our lunch break we stopped off at a small station to the side of the road. We all got out of our RV's and headed inside. "We are sitting together. I don't care what you say." She said to me as we both made our ramen together.
"I guess I don't have a choice. Just be glad I love you." I said to her and that's when Hyunjin started approaching us.
"Are we- -" He started and that's when Grace stopped him quickly.
"I'm gonna stop you there handsome. I need my sister. We need girl talk." She said to me and he nodded at her.
"Sorry." I whispered to him and that's when Grace started dragging me away. We then got a table together. "So what do we need to talk about?" I asked her and she looked at me.
"Please. It's been too long since we had a full on girls talk. We've either been with guys in our RV's or we've been in a group. Not too much privacy." She said to me and I looked at her. That was definitely true.
"I guess that you are right. We haven't had sister time together. And it's long overdue. So, how's it going with your loverboy?" She asked me and I looked at her with a smile. She could tell what I meant just by that whole look.
"It's going well, I know it's early days but I know that if we can make it work with the distance. Then this might last a while. Maybe even forever. But who knows maybe I'm being too optimistic." I said to her and she looked at me with a smile and then looked to the right.
"Yeah, with the way he's looking at you. He's definitely falling for you. You're his dream girl at the end of the day. I think you're the international dream girl. Everyone falls for you, I've seen the articles." She said with a smile on her face. She then lightly pushed my shoulder. She then looked back at me.
"So, how's it going with you two?" I asked her and she looked at me with a smile.
"Well. It's early days but we're both happy. Who knows where this will go but hopefully it'll be the start of something great. Like what you and Hyunjin have already." She said to me and I smiled at her. It was early for days me and Hyunjin but we just worked so well together.
"I'm sure that will happen besides it hasn't even been a week yet. You've got to give these things time." I said to her and she looked at me with a smile.
"Did you tell everyone back home that you're moving yet?" She asked me and I looked at her. Shaking my head.
"No one knows. It's hard to kind of saying. I'm getting custody of the 2 young ones and to top it off. We're moving across the world for my career." I said to her and she looked at me. There would be no point in me getting Custody of Mahina as she was 17 and would be making her life decisions. A big move wouldn't make her very happy.
"But I'm sure that everyone will understand. Besides I know that Lono and Kahili will be excited. Kahili wants to follow in your footsteps." She said to me and I started eating my food. That was what I never wanted.
"I hope that she doesn't follow in them because it's so hard. Yeah I'm doing radio hosting but numerous other things and it's exhausting." I said to her and she looked at me. I knew what would be coming out of her mouth next.
"How do you feel about the Cobra Kai premier? You ready to face Tanner?" She asked me and I nodded at her with a smile.
"Yeah. We ended everything in good terms there's nothing for us to be mad about when we see each other. We ended it as friends besides. I've moved on and I hope he has too." I said to her with a smile and she looked at me and smiled.
"Very mature of you. Hopefully no nosy people will ask questions about you guys being exes." She said and I looked at her as I finished my mouthful.
"Trust me these people are nosy as hell. And giving that I'm most likely going to be in the next season. I have to learn to deal with these questions." I said to her. Which is why when I would be allowed to disclose a relationship. It would help. People would have different questions and ones that I'd prefer more as well.
"Well, I know you. And I know that you can deal with them. Especially since you don't let anything get to you." She said to me and that was very true. And I knew that I'd be able to get around the questions as well. There would be numerous ones though.
"Anyways, have you figured out what you're planning on doing when we get home?" I asked her and she looked at me with a smile. She then shook her head.
"Not at all. But I was thinking of starting a podcast. Don't know what I'll call it yet but I'll have friends and all that on it. You as well before you go." She said to me and I looked at her.
"I went be going until, Mike passes. I want to be with him during that time." I said to her and she nodded taking it all in.
"Hopefully he'll hold on for as long as he can." She said to me and I nodded. I knew he wouldn't last much longer but I was hoping that he would. I wanted him to be there for a little bit longer. I couldn't lose the second most important guy in my life. That would be too much for me.
