25. Snowed In

The biggest thing that could've happened. Had happened. We'd officially been snowed in. "How long will we be trapped here?" Lono asked me and I looked at him.

"Could be a few days. We have to wait for people to dig us out and I don't know if you noticed but, we are the very last house on the top of the hill." I said to him and he looked at me.

"But there's nothing to even do in this house." He said to me and I shook my head.

"There is. You just can't be bothered to find anything to do." I said to him and he walked off in a huff. That's when I started on making lunch for everyone.

"Do you want me to help?" I heard someone say from behind me. It was Chan.

"That would be great. Thank you." I said to him and he looked at me with a smile.

"What are we doing?" He asked me and I looked at him.

"I have some Montreal smoked brisket. I was thinking of putting into a sandwich and then doing a share portion of Poutine as well." I said to him with a smile and a nod.

"Just tell me what you want me to do and I'll do it." Chan said to me and we started cooking together.

"Guys, lunch is nearly ready!" I shouted and I knew where they mainly were. The game and arcade room. It was the only thing keeping them occupied.

"I've never had any of this before." Chan said to me and I looked at him in shock.

"You have been missing out. Just wait till you try it." I said to him with a smile on my face. That's when we started heading to the dining area. That's when I saw everyone walking over all at once.

"This smells so good." Changbin said with a smile on his face.

"Trust me, if it's what I think it is. I'll be eating well." Kaili said to me and I looked at her with a smile.

"Well you would be right." I said to her with a smile. "Me and Chan have made Montreal smoked brisket and poutine. Everyone please dig in." I said with a smile on my face. We put the food down on the table and that's when we all sat down. That's when we all started to tuck in.

"This has to be one of the best things I've ever eaten." Minho said with a smile on his face.

"Try living with her. The food just gets better and better." Jer said with a smile on his face.

"It's literally a five star restaurant." Lono said with a smile on his face. We all then continued eating. At the end we all just sat back.

"Can we have that again at some point?" Hyunjin asked me and I looked at him.

"I don't have anymore brisket but I can always make poutine again." I said with a smile on my face.

"Can you teach me how to make it?" Jisung asked me and I looked at him and nodded.

"Yeah of course, it's pretty easy but I'll show you." I said with a smile on my house.

"Can we have some Nanaimo bars? You haven't made them in ages." Hina asked me and I looked at her with a smile. 

"Only if you help me make them." I said to her with a smile on my face.

"What's a nanaimo bar?" Seungmin asked and that's when I heard Jer put his hand on the table.

"It is heaven. She makes them every time we win at shows." Jer said to me and that's when he looked at me. "She hasn't made any in a while though." He said to me and I shook my head at him.

"Look, I will make some. Only because we are snowed in and have nothing else to do. Mahina, get ready. We're about to bake." I said to her and that's she looked at me and nodded.

"It'll be my pleasure." She said to me and she stood up and headed to the kitchen.

"I'll get started on the washing up." Grace said to me and I was grateful.

"I'll help you." Felix said and that's when we all headed to the kitchen.

"Before anything though. I need a glass." I said as I got the wine out. I poured myself a glass and that's when we started with making the bars. Maybe being snowed in wasn't so bad after all.

"You have done far too much." Hyunjin said to me and he wrapped his arms around me.

"I've got nothing else to do." I said to him as Hina was cutting the bars up.

"You could spend some time with me. We could be watching a movie." He said to me and I looked at him.

"Or we could watch a movie as a group." I said to him and he rested his head on his shoulder.

"We could do one group movie and then watch another tonight in our room." He said to me and I tuned around and kissed him.

"I like that idea." I said to him and that's when we headed into the main room and watched a movie with everyone. Hyunjin and I were cuddling together as we watching it. Our group movie of choice was deadpool. I was glad that we were watching it together.
