8.6. Beautiful Views (bts - night)

It was night again and that made one thing. Late night talks. But tonight I was going to sit on the roof. Look up at the stars. See if I could make out any constellations. "There you are. I couldn't find you for a moment." Hyunjin said and he started climbing up the ladder.

"Were you worried about me?" I asked him with a smile on my face and he looked at me with a smile on his.

"Maybe a little. Why did you decide up here?" He asked me and I looked at him before leaning back and looking up.

"Because of the stars. They help to clear my mind. I always like to say the brightest ones are the people you love. I tend to ask them for advice." I said to him with  a smile and that's when he started to lie beside me.

"That's a nice outlook. I say that's the brightest one so it must be your brother." He said pointing to it and I turned my head to the side to look at him.

"You're good at this because that's the one I looked at as well." I said to him with a smile. He then took my hand.

"Well, I'm only trying to think like you." He said to me and I gave him a look.

"Then what am I thinking now?" I asked him with a smile and he looked at me. He went into deep thought.

"That you're dating the hottest person to exist and that he's the best person on the planet." He said and I started to laugh a little. "What? Am I not right?" He asked and I started shaking my head.

"A little but not entirely. I was always thinking about how soon we can't do this anymore." I said to him and he kissed my hand.

"Don't even remind me. Soon you'll be countries away and we won't be able to communicate properly because of the time zone." He said to me and I looked at him. Rolling onto my side.

"But we will make it work. Because I believe we can." I said to him and he looked at me. He then rolled onto his side as well.

"I know we can and then soon we'll be able to do these late night talks in houses and not outside or even in a drivers seat and passenger seat." He said to me and I looked at the sky quickly.

"There's a shooting star. Hopefully we can make wishes come true." I said to him and he looked at it. He then kissed me. Making me smile.

"Well mine just did." He did me and he had a cheesy smile on his face. I then started laughing at what he said.

"You can be so cheesy sometimes. I would never have expected that from you." I said to him and I always thought he'd be more of like the sweet romantic. Not the cheesy romantic. But I was happy with either one.

"Oh really. Well I hope you get used to it." He said to me and that's when we started looking more at the stars.

"I don't know what it is about them. I think that they're so pretty. And the moon is just one of the prettiest things to ever exist." I said to him and he looked at me with a smile.

"Is that what your whole lyric thing is about. The stars and the moon." He said to me and I looked at him. I'd been working on that since I got here. I didn't realise anyone was sneakily reading what I had written.

"Yeah in a way. It's a song about remembering as well. Lost ones and all that. Hopefully I get finished shortly." I said to him and he looked at him.

"If you ever want help. Remember your staying with some of the best songwriters there is. Including me." He said and I could see that he was hoping that I'd take him up on the offer.

"Maybe I will. Who knows maybe some input from others might be the things that I need." I said to him and I could that that made him happy. We laid there for a bit longer just talking.

"So about Grace. Are you going to talk to her tomorrow?" He asked me and I nodded. I think tomorrow would be when we work it all out.

"Yeah. I think I just needed the day to think about everything. And I thought it over and I think we both overreacted a little bit." I said to him and I was hoping that she was having talks with Felix and all that about it. I think we just needed to get other people's views before actually talking with each other again.
