18. Final Play

Today was the day. It was the last day of the musical. This whole time we'd been back in the UK. I'd had to do shows back to back. Today was the last day that we'd be doing Mamma Mia. I was currently at the academy behind the stage. Getting ready. "There's my Sophie. You ready to do this one last time?" Arlo asked as he came over to me.

"I'm not. I don't want this to end." I said with a sad smile on my face. I was not wanting this to end.

"I know. It's all so sad but everything great must come to an end." He said to me and that's when I saw Cleo appear.

"There's someone here for you." She said to me and I stood up. I'd had all my makeup done and I was already to go.

"What seat?" I asked her and she looked at me with a smile.

"Row 3 seat 25." She said to me and I looked at her with a smile and a nod.

"I'll be back soon." I said with a smile and that's when I put a robe on and started walking over to the seat.

"Here she is." Hyunjin said and that's when he took my hand.

"How are you feeling?" Chan asked me and I looked at him.

"Sad and nervous." I said with a smile on my face. That's when I looked around at the crowd.

"You'll do great. I know you will." Jisung said to me and I nodded.

"Thank you. Honestly I wasn't expecting this many people to be here." I said as I looked around.

"Hey. Don't get nervous now. You've done this twice now. Everything will be fine." Hyunjin said to me and that's when I saw someone catch my attention.

"I hope so. All I know is I've got 5 minutes to curtain call. So I guess I got to go." I said to them with a nervous smile.

"You got this break a leg." Hyunjin said to me and that's when I blew him a kiss before heading back to the stage. That's when I saw Cleo.

"Everything ok?" She asked me and I looked at her with a smile.

"It was good I feel at ease." I said with a smile on my face and she looked at me with a smile.

"Good because the show starts soon. Get into position." She said to me. And here I went. The last time playing Sophie. Saying goodbye to an amazing character. The show started and I was immersed myself into this world of Mamma Mia. When it got to the interval halfway through I went backstage to the dressing room.

"Baby, you are doing so well so far." I heard a voice say and it was Hyunjin.

"Thank you. I feel like I'm going to lose my voice." I said to him and he looked at me with an unreadable face.

"And if you do I will know exactly what you mean when we get home." He said to me and I looked at him with a smile on his face.

"Well aren't I lucky." I said and I stood up and he approached me. That's when he hugged me and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"You are. Especially since I love you so much." He said to me and I looked at him with a smile. That was the first time he ever said that.

"And I love you too." I said to him and that's when he kissed me and I smiled. I was happier now than I was starting the show.

"I have a present for you as well but it's back at the house." He said to me and I looked at him with a smile on my face.

"I look forward to seeing what it is." I said to him and that's when I let go of him. I needed to drink before I had to go back on stage. I only had a few more minutes left before going back on stage again. And when I had to go back on stage it was getting to the point that I knew it was nearly over and when the final curtain call. I knew I was getting emotional.

"Round of applause for Y/n Y/l/n-Ahn as Sophie Sheridan and Arlo Hudson as Sky." Cleo said with a smile and that's when me and Arlo ran forwards and did a small dance together before bowing. I could hear the boys cheering loudly for me and I smiled. When we did our encore and all did our final bow it was time to go backstage.

"Wow. The past 3 nights have been great everyone. We did a lot of hard work and battled through a lot. So thank you everyone. We've got all of you a gift as well." Our teacher in charge of the whole production said to us. "But for now. Everyone have a glass of bubbly. You all deserved it." She said to us and that's when we all had a glass together. Maybe a few more. When I started walking out I'd stumbled a little. Thankfully I knew that Jer was driving home.

"She's had a few I can tell come on you."  Jer said to me as I started walking over to him and Hyunjin.

"It was free. Of course I'm going to drink it." I said with a smile.

"And you don't turn down free alcohol." Jer said rolling his eyes and that's when Hyunjin put his arm around me.

"What's in the bag?" He asked me and I looked at him with a smile.

"Champagne." I said with a smile on my face and that's when I saw Jer look back at me.

"You deserved it as well." He said to me and that's when we walked all the way back to the car. When we got home that's when I saw my gift from Hyunjin. A flower bouquet.

"For me?" I asked him as I went over and picked them up.

"Only for you." Hyunjin said to me and this had to be the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for me. I was falling more and more in love with him.
