Narrator's POV:

"Ara Ara! So the both of you went out for Ohagi yesterday!! How sweet!" The Insect Pillar exclaimed as Giyuu told her the news.

"Also Kochō.." Giyuu said, with his dark blue eyes, looking out the window. The wind was blowing gently, the sun was shining, and the clouds were moving ever so slowly..

"Yes Tomioka-San? Is there something you wish to ask me?" She questioned during filling a cup full of medicine for her dear patient.

"Do you know why Shinazugawa-San keeps turning at least a bit or even more red whenever we talk?.." Shinobu's eyes widened as Giyuu was talking. "I ask him every so often if he's feeling well, but he always says he's alright."

Then the Insect Hashira started smiling as she helped her patient gulp down the medicine.

"You know Tomioka-San, I have a feeling that you and Shinazugawa-San may become even more than friends!.."

"Well-.." Giyuu only felt and heard his heart beating.. Sanemi.. The thought of to be be with him made the Pillar feel..quite happy.

"Well? How do you feel around him?"

"I can't really explain it.. It honestly feels like I have this fluttery feeling in my stomach and I sometimes feel embarrassed but..happy to be by his side.. I feel like I want to be with him nonstop, but nothing lasts forever.."

"Why don't you be his "nothing" then?"

The next day was still as beautiful as ever. The cherry blossoms were falling delicately off their branches, while the wind blowed ever so gently.. Then, while the pillars were having their meeting as usual, Giyuu was still staring at Sanemi, wondering if he did really loved the Wind Pillar..

"My dear children.. Oyakata-Sama announced as he stood proudly, wearing his gentle smile. Today is an important day as you might of heard of, since I'm allowing all of you to have an entire week off."

"But, master..isn't there tons of demons devouring people right this instant?..I don't think that having a whole entire week off isn't that pleasant, due to the fact that people might be getting devoured by a high ranked demon.." The wind Pillar said, while some of the Hashiras nodded their heads in agreement. They knew the consequences.

"Of course Shinazugawa-San, which is why I'm assigning you all in groups of three. The first group will get an entire week off starting today. Then once that week is over, the next group and so on will have their own turn."

"Hmm, I guess there's no harm in that!" Shinobu said in her cheerful tone and smile.

"Yeah, it seems like a nice idea!" Iguro smiled under his lined, white mask as Kanroji made her comment. Kaburamaru, his red-eyed snake, bit him once again.

"I'm glad you are agreeing to the idea, now, the first group will be: Shinazugawa, Kochō, and Tomioka."

"Well I pray that you three will have an amazing time." Gyomei wished them well.

The first day went well. Shinobu was able to study more about the beautiful and deadly flower to demons, Wisteria. She was also quite busy when creating new poisons mainly created for killing off man-eating demons. On the other hand, Sanemi was very busy training as usual. He had no interest in doing anything other than beheading demons. (Other than Tomioka..<3) Then there was Giyuu, who decided to catch up on his sleep. He didn't want to be too tired to not do anything on the next few days he had off.

On the second day, everything was basically the same. Except when around lunch time, Sanemi was again, knocking on Giyuu's front door at the Water Pillar's estate.

"Shinaguzawa-San?.. Is there something wrong?" Giyuu asked as he gently opened the front door. He wasn't in his uniform, and his long, dark, black hair that was usually tied up was neatly brushed.

"Are you gonna let me come in?? Don't just stand there!"

"Right, sorry-"

"Is there really anything you need to be apologizing for idiot!??"

"Alright, come in."

As the Wind Pillar entered the room,
"I honestly HATE it when you say sorry, especially when you did nothing wrong. So actually THINK in that puny brain of your's, and actually think about what your gonna say before you apologize."

"Okay, so..what did you want to tell me?"

"Tch."

He threw a small, light blue, delicate box at the other.

"A..gift?"

Sanemi turned his head, he responded,
"It's not a big deal.."

Giyuu unwrapped the ribbon, and found a beautiful, silver ring. It's diamond shining and reflecting the man's face.
