kyomi's pov
Kyomi absolutely ignores that piece of advice.
She keeps on working with Yori closely, enjoying their time together. But, that advice from Heartbreaker sits at the back of her mind, nagging at her.
One lazy day, maybe 2 weeks later, she turns to ask Yori about it.
"Hey, so, Heartbreaker was talking to me the other day and she told me that—"
Kyomi is cut off by Heartbreaker herself. She runs up to the girls and gestures for them to get up and go. They must have an emergency.

And that's how they ended up here. It's just one villain this time. It should be simple, But Yori seems to be distracted and Kyomi very much is.
The villain grabs Yori by her left arm, and before either Kyomi or Heartbreaker can even approach them, Yori is thrown against the ground.
She stands up minutes later, clutching her arm. The villain is almost defeated.
Kyomi watches the other girl run out of the alleyway and onto a bustling street.
After refocusing her attention on the villain, she and Heartbreaker defeat him quickly, barely even receiving a scratch.
They're silent, breathing heavy. Kyomi points to the street.
"Can I..." She looks at Heartbreaker expectantly.
"Go. I'll be right behind you."
Kyomi nods and runs out to the street. She's greeted with the sight of Yori sitting with her back against a building, silent tears running down her cheeks.
"Hey hey hey hey, Yori, it's going to be okay," Kyomi bends down and reaches to swipe the few tears away from Yori's face.
All the other girl does is shake her head.
"I mean, it probably hurts like a bitch now, but you'll be up and doing hero work again soon. It'll be fine."
"No," is all Yori says.
"Yes. I can promise you it's going to be okay. Trust me," Kyomi softens her voice.
"You're wrong," Yori chokes out.
Kyomi waits for Yori to explain.
"It doesn't hurt. Which sounds like a good thing, but...I can't feel anything in the arm at all."
