"It all happened so fast" is a cliche phrase.
But, that's the only phrase in Yori's head after she knocks out the other villain and runs to Kyomi's side. Heartbreaker picks up the girl bridal-style, seemingly listening to her pulse, and ushers Yori to follow her.
They wind up at the hospital. Yori watches her friend be put on a table, ready to be operated on.
Next thing she knows, it's a day later and she's slumped in a chair next to Kyomi's bed.
It all happened so fast.
