I hope you realize that every day is a fresh start for you. That every sunrise is a new chapter in your life waiting to be written.

It's barely the second week of January, and it's terrifying, actually, because I'm already done with utterly everything. When I mean everything, it means the crazy violin masterclass, the freaky drama rehearsal, school work and council duties have successfully killed me. I know I can't do all those four once. Maybe if I let go the Juliet role, I could take a little breath of relief and still die peacefully. But acting with Tyler and being the school's drama couple seems too interesting to be turned down.
Besides, Tyler signed up for me. The drama had a total of fifty people auditioning, thanks to Scott's sudden reckless announcement. During the first rehearsals, people are so hyped up to see us together. I think people don't know that we're together already, so we let that pass.
But my problems are bigger than that. The violin rehearsals have increased, and I start to slow down a little bit. I begin to lose time and sacrifice my school works. I know it's not good to abandon my academics, but as long as I'm not interested in going to Ivy League, it's okay, I guess.
Besides, the lowest mark I got this year is still A minus. Still A. I'm still safe.
And not only that, there are so many things I have to do, the paperworks and stuff that I usually helped Jason arranging, but what makes me even nervous is my upcoming duty since Jason is abroad for his competition: welcoming the new students who enroll in Northwood this year.
My eyes scan the paper I've been holding for so long: the profiles of two new students, whom I will give tour of the school and all stuff regarding Northwood. What if I'm too awkward for them? Crap, how did Jason pull this off?
"Chels? They've both arrived. Do you need help?" Kathleen enters Jason's office room, which I would use for the next couple days to run his duties.
"Oh, okay. I'll get out soon, and start the tour, I promise," I say. The purpose of the tour is probably so they won't get lost inside the school, which is quite weird because in my opinion, it's not fun if you have no experience of getting lost in your new school.
Just kidding. I won't get them lost.
I glance at both of the new students's picture on the profile papers. The first one is Isabella Foxx, a pretty girl in my year who's just moved from England. Her last academic report states that she had homeschooling before enrolling here. The second one is Jeremy Foxx, her cousin who's one year younger than us. Their family owns Foxx Aviation Company which is quite renowned in US.
I fetch my navy tie and blazer on the couch and wear them immediately. It isn't compulsory to wear the blazer though, but the weather is too cold for me to cope. So it's been a must to wear on winter, specially at such early hour as 7 am. The class starts in fifteen minutes, but I'm free not to join it since I have 'president duties'. I put on my lip gloss and walk outside the council room with confidence and a big smile.
On the couch, there sit the new students, aka the Foxx. They are busy with their own gadgets, not caring a single thing in the world. I cough and greet them with my failed cheery voice, "Hi!"
Their heads snap to me, and Isabella's lips quirk to an instant frown. "Hello." No British accent. Damn, I almost wished she had one. Her confusing frown makes my breath caught on my throat. What the hell did I do wrong?
The boy, Jeremy, traces his lazy eyes from my head to toe. I almost mentally roll my eyes when he smirks and stands up, offering his hand. "Jeremy Foxx. I thought the cheerleaders here would be ugly but you actually look hot."
