It's scary to find someone who makes you so happy. You start giving them all your attention because they make you forget everything bad in your life. They're the first person you want to talk to in the morning and the last before you sleep. It all sounds great to have that someone, but it's scary to think about how easily they could just leave and take that happiness away too when they go.

Chapter 7 - I want you, not the popcorn

"What's cos90 again?"

"Zero," I reply, eating my caramel popcorn. Heaven.

"Sine30?"

"Half. Hey, I told you to memorize it!"

"I've forgotten it already," he grins sheepishly, "And there are too many things I have to memorize."

"What, like your one night stands phone number?" I retort, smiling sweetly.

"One night stands are one night stands, shouldn't call them next day," he winks cheekily.

"Poor thing," I sigh, this guy really hasn't changed. His playboy attitude is annoying!

The last time I tutored him, I saw his inbox.. Samantha was texting him lots of awful overly-nice and sexual lines.

Like, Babe can you come over? Need someone to unclasp my bra.

Ew. Totally disgusting. I replied immediately, "Sorry babe, ask one of your worshippers."

"Sigh, this week has been so weird, hasn't it?"

"My week has been so weird since you're there," I chuckle, which earns a glare from him. "What? Did I say something wrong?"

"Weird, or interesting?" he smirks arrogantly, which makes me wants to slap his face with brick. Whoa, since when do I become so violent?

"It's interesting to listen your one night stands stories, yet it becomes so boring lately and I think you've lost your charm, if you even had one," I smirk back, and he seems taken aback by one second.

"Burn," he yells in high-pitched voice then he raises his right eyebrow, "Then explain how I managed to charm you?"

I glare at him, "I'm not charmed by anyone, or worse, you!"

"Denial again? You are surely stubborn for someone who's definitely charmed by me." He emphasizes the 'me' with a playful smirk that makes me very, very annoyed.

"But I'm not those bimbos you can easily make out with at school hallways," I smirk back at him. Two can play in the game. Huh!

"Ouch, are you jealous Miss First Rank?"

Jealous?! I scoff, "You wish."

"You can make out with me without being bimbo you know," his eyebrows raise suggestively, almost showing his victory smirk. Whatever, Stratford. Whatever makes you sleep at night.

"Want some popcorn?" I ask, attempting to change the topic.

"I want you," he murmurs blankly, "Not the popcorn."

"How dare you! Food before anything!" I yell, pouting while he laughs uncontrollably, the one kind that makes his stomach hurts.

"I was flirting with you and you pointed out that food is supposed to be before anything? Oh my G—"

"Y-you were flirting with me?" Did he just!.. He just flirted with me? But.. Oh my God, I'm really that blunt and stupid. Seriously, what's wrong with me?
