There are certain people who come into your life, and leave a mark... Their place in your heart is tender; a bruise of longing, a pulse of unfinished business. Just hearing their names pushes and pulls at you in a hundred ways, and when you try to define those hundred ways, describe them even to yourself, words are useless.

Chapter 21 - Thank you for taking care of me, love
It was the first time ever that I dreamt of something else than my usual nightmare.
I dreamt of his kiss, his touch and his scent. They all seemed so real that I gasped for air. My first kiss was going to be taken in a dream, that was so absurd wasn't it?
And when someone wakes me up, I was so desperate because the dream ended when he was just an inch away from me, his lips were going to kiss me, and I was going to kiss him back. What possessed me? I don't know. I am not sure.
"Chello, wake up," someone's voice booms through my room, while I still bury my head on my pillow. My brain starts kicking my dumb self when I hear the word Chello. I smile contentedly, happy and ecstatic because he calls me Chello again, not the serious and plain Chelsea.
"Go away Tylo. My dream was so good until you came." My voice is muffled because I bury my face in my pillow, slightly embarrassed of my sleepy face and possibly messy, tangled hair.
He laughs softly and pokes my right arm. "Come on. You are going to miss the party. Adam said Chris needs help. I think he was pretty serious about that."
"But he told me I can miss the party," I say in sad, desperate tone so he would back off and leave me alone.
"He changed his mind, then." Grrr, Chris! That jerk!
"Fine," I sigh as I turn my body and sit on the bed. My eyes widen in shock when I see Tyler is already dressed on his costume. Nothing changes, he's still the hot Tyler who happens to wear old coat and attractive hat. He becomes a pirate, and his long coat suits his body perfectly. His pirate hat looks hilarious though. I chuckle once I see him struggling to sit on the edge of my bed.
"What?" His eyebrows furrow, probably confused why I'm laughing at him right now. His thinking face was so cute.
"Oh my. I can't tell you," I cheekily smile, "Now go so I can change in my costume."
Tyler smiles widely, "Wait, I forgot. Are you alright now?"
I only nod and push him to the door. I can hear faint sound of electronic music blasting downstairs with cheery voices. The party has already started huh..
Fifteen minutes later, I go out of my room with my costume. Yep, the reason I laughed at Tyler was because I become a sailor today. It is red-and-white bustier top with blue high-waist shorts with red fishnet stocking and a white sailor hat. I just have no idea who I wanted to be - because I thought my ribs wouldn't be fully healed today. The pain is gone, still, but...
Never mind, I was probably crazy when I let Flo picked such costume for me.
I succeeded applying my own make up. It was the trick mom taught me days ago. Yes, mom forced me to learn, because she was right in the point where women would need make up someday even though I insisted I didn't want to. But well, I was grateful for it, because I succeeded without Flo's help right now.
I deserve a twenty-four inches sized cookie.
I walk downstairs and find the lake house is fully crowded right now. It's a little bit dark with few lights from the colorful, luminous glow stick. There are a lot of people who are swaying back and forth, dancing to the rhythm of the music. Most of the costumes are basic, like pirate, fairy, princess, peter pan, or zombie. I think I just passed an invisible man who was kissing passionately with Betty Boop. I laugh when I see Kody in his eggplant costume. Gosh, this is hilarious! His friends from the swimming team have similar theme - like corn and carrot. Definitely the most hilarious costume.
