Josh was in tremendous pain and can't even open his eyes very well and went back to sleep. Cathy hurried and unlocks the the front door and hurried and placed Josh in Miranda's bed. She looked over his injuries and they were mostly bruises all over his body and Miranda hurried back with the first aid kit.
Cathy got started wrapping a few a bandages around a few places and treated the cuts on his face and cleaning the blood off of him and have him some painkillers to help him sleep it off.
"Poor thing. Why won't our society just accept him?" Miranda asked.
"I don't know, just because he's different. But we can do what we can to have his life turn around for the better."
"Will your sister accept him?" Miranda asked.
"Kindle will understand since she did told me once that she saw this human trying to find food from trash cans and it make her feel sorry for him." Cathy explains.

Kindle —————-
"When will she be home?" Miranda asks.
"In a couple of hours. Cathy answers.
"We better tell her or she will freak out of who is sleeping in my bedroom."
"Fair point."
As time passes, Cathy and Miranda has been watching some TV and eating some popcorn. Cathy then gets a text from her sister that she will be home soon. She then texts her back and tells her about Josh and Kindle was shocked that she hurried home.
Kindle was Cathy's older sister. She works as a nurse in the Furtopia Hospital to make a living. After she heard that Cathy found Josh beaten and unconscious, she immediately head home as soon as possible since he has some proper treatment for him. She made it home and gave Cathy a hug.
"Hey Sis!" Cathy shouted as she hugs back.
"Hey Cathy. Where is your new friend at?" Kindle asked.
"He's resting In Miranda's room and he is really in critical condition. I treated him a little but I don't think painkillers will help him." Cathy explains.
"Don't worry, I brought some stuff from work that will help him recover after a couple of days." Kindle says as she went to the bedroom and sees Josh asleep.
"I'll take care of him from here. You should get some sleep. You have school in the morning." Kindle says as she went in the bedroom and closed the door.
During the night, Cathy and Miranda are asleep, and kindle was still awake treating Josh back to health. Kindle started injecting some medications into his body to heal up his bruises and cut and even repairs his fractured bones that he received. After she was done, she decided to add a special medicine that can make someone strong as an anthro.
She knew that she didn't tested yet since she not sure it can work that is not anthro but she wanted Josh to have a chance to defend himself from prejudice assholes like Nathan and his friends. As she injected the medicine into him she noticed that it started to work unexpectedly as it courses through his body, giving strength as anthros.
"See you in the morning." Kindle says as she left the room and left Josh asleep.
As the sun rises for a brand new day, Josh moaned a little as he started to open his eyes a little. He sat up and jumped in surprise that he was sleeping in a girl's bedroom. He got out of bed and fell down to the floor since his legs were still limb.
He grabs onto something and pulls himself up and he started to feel his legs again but can't stand up for long. Just then, Kindle came in and Josh got scared and scooted back fast.
"Hey, hey Relax. I'm not going to hurt you." Kindle says as she helped Josh on the bed.
"Why are you helping me?" He asked.
"Because, you didn't deserve any discrimination from others like that. And my sister felt sympathy for you and taken you home with her." Kindle explains.
Josh didn't know what to say since he doesn't understand why some furs would save him from death and helped him since most furs he encountered with mistreated him horribly.
"I got a big breakfast waiting for you. I bet you didn't eat much from trash cans all those years." She says as she helped him to the dining room.
Josh sees a plate of pancakes and was desperate enough to eat them fast and was desperate for survival. Kinda sees sympathy in him of how he suffered in the past but maybe there is a chance for him to be accepted by the furry society.
