Josh and the girls headed back to the bus stop with sacks of groceries and Josh was trying to ignore the attention of the bystanders since they were shocked and surprised about the incident with the criminals and saving an elder from getting mugged. Now that some furs recorded it and uploaded it all over many platforms of their social media. The girls were also concerned about the attention as well since it could be too much for Josh.

Their bus finally arrived and got in as they waited for their stop back to their neighborhood. Josh just sat at the back of the bus to avoid the attention from a few furs. Cathy and Miranda sat with him during the ride of the bus route.

"Everyone is whispering about it." Josh quietly spoke to Cathy.

"I know but I think it could be good for you since it could build respect for you, but yeah the attention right now is too much." She spoke.

"People are even staring at me. I'm not liking it." Miranda says.

"We will be home soon." Cathy says as she tries to stay positive from the looks and the whispering from the others in the bus.

It's been almost 20 minutes and the bus finally went around its route back home and the trio finally got out and hurried back to the house with the groceries and started putting them away in the kitchen.

"Good thing the milk is still fresh during the ride back on the bus." Josh says as he puts it in the fridge.

"Yeah, we only have one car and Kindle needs it for work." Cathy says as she puts some of the groceries in the pantry.

"Oh shoot! It's almost time for my gig!" Miranda shouted as she went to grab her guitar from her room.

"Hey! You still need to help put the food away!" Cathy shouted.

"No time! I only have 20 minutes to get there! I'll make it up to you guys." Miranda shouted as ran out the front door with her guitar and ran off to her destination.

"Will she make it on foot?" Josh asked with curiosity.

"The Cafe she is going to perform at is only 10 minutes away by walking." Cathy explains.

"I hope she does well. Never saw her play. But I heard her play in her room."

"Even though she had confidence, she needs some more practice." Cathy says while sitting down on the couch and turns on the TV.

Josh sat next to her with a bowl of popcorn and shared it with her as they watched anything that was good. But Cathy stops at the new channel talking about the incident at the grocery store and Josh sighed with a little of frustration.

"In news, An incident happened at Fire Sale grocery store at Berry Avenue where a 57 year old Betty Freeman was brutally beaten down by two Criminals by the Names of Turner and Phillp Jermery trying to rob her after she walked out paying for her groceries." The female deer says through the news.

"That's right Katie. It was unfortunate of innocent people getting hurt by scum like the Jeremy brothers with criminal records of mugging others across the city of Furtopia. However, a human teen stepped in and saved Betty Freeman from getting killed by the criminals. He taught them a lesson but it had to be horribly escalated when Turner Jermery tried to kill them with a knife, but he was the one that was killed during the altercation while the human took his knife and killed him by self-defense." The Male lizard explained.

"We had some videos that showed the altercation from many uploaders from social media. Could we misjudge that humans are not as inferior as we thought before?" The female deer asked while explaining.

"Please change the damn channel." Josh says while annoyed by the news.

Cathy did so without any hesitation since it was too much for her as well as she finally found an action movie for them to watch while passing time. A movie of two furry spies trying to escape a facility with sensitive intel.

"Reminds me of mission impossible." Josh joked.

"One of your human movies?" Cathy asked.

"Yeah it's a classic."

Cathy giggled as she and Josh continued watching the movie together during the afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nathan and his friends were hanging out at his house and were pissed about getting beaten to the pulp by Josh. Lucas was able to move his arm again after it was snapped the wrong way. As for Brandon, he was able to get most of his teeth back but one of his bottom canine teeth were never found after Josh gave him a real punch in the jaw at the track.

Nathan's face was still swollen a little but was covered in bruises and his left eye was severely swollen shut and his snout was a little tender from the punches that he received. Just while Lucas was looking through the channels, they noticed the news about Josh saving a fur elder from the criminal that tried to mug her.

It caught their attention as they watched it. And Nathan was pissed about Josh getting the respect he wanted from the others.

"So, he's trying to play the hero? That fucking asshole." Lucas says with malice.

"He thinks he is so clever? Wait till school and I'll teach him a thing or two." Nathan says with spite.

"You are not the only one. But remember that we are on probation at school. We need to get him outside of school." Brandon says.

"Just wait till our injuries heal as well. My arm is still in bad shape." Lucas says,

"Which I want to ask. How in hell did he beat us up?" Brandon asked.

"Not sure. He was easy to beat up everytime till now." Nathan says.

"Don't you think Coach Kelly taught him to fight back?" Lucas asked.

"How would she in one week of teaching one no-fur to beat 3 furs like us easily?! That's not possible at all!" Nathan shouted.

"Maybe she taught him outside of school." Brandon explained.

"Well that won't stop us getting back at that no-fur. We will give him time to have a life till he gets rid of him. Nathan suggested.

"Right." Lucas answered.

Meanwhile, Miranda finally made it to the cafe on time and was ready for her gig to see if she can get her break of being a famous guitarist someday. She walked inside and got ready.
