Third Person POV:
"Shuichi" Kokichi replied running up to Shuichi reading novels in the library, Kokichi hugged Shuichi from behind as Shuichi turned around and as hugged back, he loved Ouma but he wasn't ready to tell him just yet.
"I missed you Saihara-chan" Kokichi said looking at Shuichi's gold eyes under his hat, Kokichi was close to Shuichi, they first met in middle school where he met Shuichi, let's just say Shuichi got bullied at school
For Kokichi, he always defends Shuichi and always care for him, but when Kokichi was never at school for just a day, Shuichi would get badly hurt so one day Kokichi told the principal that, if they don't do anything he would call the police and make sure this school never see a day again.
That's when Shuichi started to defend himself so in high school he'll be the one protecting Kokichi in no time, after 8 years later Shuichi was more mature and Kokichi was more kind and started having lots of fun.
"Hey Ouma, how was class?" Shuichi replied as he closed the novel and went to the library lady to scan the book, while Kokichi told how class was and how they have a big project due next week.
"Hello boys, is this it Shuichi?" The library lady said and Shuichi look at her and nodded his head and Kokichi took Shuichi's hat and put it in his head, Shuichi giggle at Kokichi action and didn't do anything since he was his best friend.
"Thank Mrs. Grantham" Shuichi replied and he took his novels and walk out the door as Kokichi went up to his other friends, Kaito and Maki who were Shuichi's friends who were outside of class.
"Hey Maki, hey Kaito" Shuichi replied to them as he open the novel and starts reading once again, doesn't care about class and how he was a hard-working detective trying to solve his uncle cases.
"Shuichi, can I come over to your house again" Kokichi said as he was looking at the Navy blue boy reading. Shuichi look away from his novel and replied "Sure thing Kichi"
Kokichi blushed at his new nickname that Shuichi made up and Kokichi pretty much never heard Shuichi used any nickname to his best friend but he didn't mind with the new nickname, Shuichi smiled at Kokichi embarressed face and giggle under his book.
*Bells ring*
the class was over and everyone could go home and everyone got out of their class and went to their lockers and got there bags and left the school, Shuichi and the others went to their own lockers got their bags and say their goodbyes and went back home.
"Shuichi, why did you move in with your uncle?" Kokichi curiously said and Shuichi was slience for a moment {Well, Kokichi is a smart and he would know how I lie}, Shuichi thought to himself but Kokichi stop and grabbed Shuichi's arm and pull him down to Kokichi same level.
"Shuichi is something wrong with your family" Kokichi said calmly not trying to make anything hard for Shuichi to answer his question, Kokichi knows about Shuichi's family problems and doesn't want him to feel guilty about it
"Ouma it's just- *sigh* My family doesn't support me of being bisexual, My father kicked me out the house and My uncle and my father fought. My uncle decided to let me live with him since, he said it doesn't matter if I like boys or girls" Shuichi said
Kokichi embrace Shuichi telling him that it's alright and he would support his best friend no matter what, Shuichi smiled loving the small purple male cute action and his sweet words coming out his best friend mouth
"Hey boys, ready to come inside" Shuichi's uncle replied with a smirk on his face, Kokichi stop embracing Shuichi and blushed, as for Shuichi he just smiled and told his uncle that he should get inside
After getting inside, both males were working on their homework and trying to finish today's assignment and for Kokichi he wasn't behind any homework but he was working on his big project.
Shuichi POV:
"Ouma, do you need any help on the project?" I replied to my cute best friend who was focus on his project, Man Kokichi always serious of his grade but who cares he's Kokichi Ouma after all, he put a lot of effort on his project.
"No thanks but I appreciate your offer" Kokichi replied in a calm tone as he continue to focus on his big project, Kokichi is so appreciated for everything and maybe his family had raised him well, expect for my family of course
Why can't they appreciate me as their son than Kokichi being appreciate has his family, This is so unfair my own uncle loves me like his own son than my actual family, Kokichi is like a close friend to me who understand me.
"Shuichi, why are you crying?" Kokichi said in his worried tone and hands over my cheek, crap I didn't know I was going to cry in my dark thoughts like that and I really hate when I cry right in front of my close friend
"Sorry Ouma, I didn't mean to worry you" I said wiping my tears away as Kokichi looked at me and I can tell he's worried about me and I don't like to make him think that it was his fault but it's hard to think about my dark deep thoughts sometimes.
"Saihara, look at me tell me what's wrong you know I'm here to listen with whatever the problem is" Kokichi replied in a calm and sweet tone as he moved his right hand on my cheek as he smile softly
I sigh and couldn't do anything about it so I do have to tell Ouma what's going on in my mind and be honest with him is the only thing I can do about it
"I just thought about how appreciated you were and how your family support you and being accepted of being their son and how my family were different from your family" I said explaining what my thoughts was about
"You're just to loved and I wasn't and no one in my family accepted me and feel disgusted myself and I failed everyone, the thought of not being good enough is just unfair" I replied about my situation
Ouma looked at me and I can see that he didn't understand why I felt like this, I knew he wouldn't understand me of who I am, pretty much no one understand me expect my uncle.
"Shu, listen to me don't think that way you know I accept you and I wouldn't even do anything if you like some male or female, I will always support you through the end of death" Kokichi said in his calm tone
Dang it Ouma, you know really what to say and I do really understand that my problems isn't involved with you but why worry about me?
"Because I care about you Saihara-chan I really do, I know I'm not involved in your problems, but you know I will be by your side no matter, or what will happen in the world" Kokichi replied as if he read my mind
"Ouma-" I got cut off by the small purple male embracing me, man I really appreciate you Ouma that your going to be with me, by my side and I really do hope so that soon enough I will have the courage to tell you that I love you.
