𝑺𝒉𝒖𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒊'𝒔 𝑴𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 (Pregame AU)

Home safely

Kokichi POV:

The weather was raining heavily and I was getting cold and tired but was it worth it? to ran out the house like that and left Shuichi worried for me, I don't really think that it was a good idea at all

I was coughing and sick, I was shivering and the trees weren't doing anything to help me and the cold wind blew as I heard someone calling my name from afar, I didn't know who it could be?

"OUMA WHERE ARE YOU" I heard someone yelling my name

I was afraid if it was someone like my father going to hurt me so I stood up and starting running and it alerted them and chase after me. that was stupid of me but I had to do it for my safety

I started running as fast as I can but I didn't notice on the ground that there was a bump and I fell down and injured my knee so badly and there was blood and dirt on my knee

Then I heard them catching up to me and I closed my eyes and told them to please not to kill me and promised them I wouldn't tell anyone but they didn't hurt me but spoke to me

"Ouma it's me" someone said and they sounded familer

"S-saihara" I opened my eyes to see Shuichi with a worried face

"Ouma your hurt, lets get you home" Shuichi said

Shuichi picked me up and walked and took us back to his uncle car and I was sick and I hugged Shuichi and brought me inside the car, I was shivering from the cold

"Uncle you could take us home" Shuichi said

"Alright then" His uncle said

I felt cold and Shuichi covered me with his jacket and let me be close to him as we were taken home and I was tired and I fell alseep in the car ride from the long rode

Shuichi POV:

Ouma was asleep and he looked cold and sick but he also looked pale, I was worried for him and made me felt worried and sick to see him like this, in this state 

We had returned home and I took Ouma inside and changed his wet clothes into some fresh and warm clothes as I put him under the covers but he was shivering a lot so I made sure to turn on the heater

*Coughing*

Looks like Ouma is sick and has a cold so I went downstairs to make him some soup and I heard a doorbell at the front door, which was weird since no one came to visit us in a time like this

My uncle opened it and it was Maki and Kaito who were at the front door as I told them to come inside and told them there was a guest room upstairs to let themself make their self at home

They both went upstairs as I continue making the soup and after the soup was finished I grabbed the bowl and pour the soup in and put it in the tray and took Ouma's medication also to went upstairs

I went to my room and saw Ouma still asleep and he was coughing so I woke him up slowly and told him to drink some warm soup and take his medication after

"I-i want to sleep" Ouma groans

"Ouma you're sick and you have to drink some soup and the medication you need to take after as well to make you feel better" I said softly

"F-fine" He sat up

I gave him the tray and let him start drinking the warm soup as I told him that Maki and Kaito are in the the other room and that I'll talk to them

I walked out of the room and went to the guest room where Maki and Kaito were sitting down and saw me come in, which they were happy to see me

"Hey Shuichi you look wet what happened?" Kaito said

"No need to worry about that right now but I want to know why you both came here?" I said confused of what was the reason for the both of them being here? They should be at school right now

"Well the teachers told us to check on both of you" Maki explained

"Plus the teachers told us that there were no school since of the weather" Kaito said, bad weather huh well that's great

"Alright Ouma is in my room so you guys just stay here by the way do you want any coffee or drinks?" I asked

"Just water" Kaito replied

"I want some warm Tea please" Maki said

"Alright then please don't distrubed Kokichi, he in the other room" I said

"We won't" Maki said

I went downstairs and made some tea and got some water and brought it upstairs and gave it to them to warm them down a bit 

"Here you both go" I said

"Thanks Shuichi your the best" Maki replied

"You know he's always the best Maki-chan" Kaito said

"I know but you know a little compliment doesn't hurt you know" Maki said

"Ok then I have to check up with Ouma-kun so if you guys need anything just call me and I'll be right there and if not then you know thats another story" I said

"I get it" Maki said understanding what I meant but also thinks the other way around

"Pftt" Kaito spit out the water

"What the F*ck bro, did you really had to say that?!" Kaito said surprised 

"Jeez I was just kidding" I said teasely

"No but seriously if you do need me knock on the door" I said

I walked out and went into my room to see Ouma finished the soup I went to the the drawer and took out a thermometer and took Ouma's temperature

"100.4c looks like you need to rest a bit" I said

"But you also need to take your medication as well" I replied

"Alright" Ouma said

I gave him a spoon of his medication as he took it and shallow it and drank some water to jug it down since he doesn't like the medication taste at all

"I just have to put these stuff back and you get some rest for now" I said, I took the tray and went downstairs to see my uncle working on the case. Which he was struggling with for the past 2 days

"Hey Shuichi when are going to help me on this case?" My uncle said

"Uncle you know that these past few weeks has been a living h*ll and now Ouma is sick so maybe between next week?" I replied trying to make time and rearranging my schedules

"You know you have been studying for being a detective" My uncle explained

"I know but right now it's tough when I'm in a relationship and all, but I need time I'm still a teenager after all" I said, I was a detective in training meaning that I'm training myself to become a detective

My uncle didn't say anything and I went upstairs and went into my room to see Ouma asleep and he was coughing a lot which was not good, but I tried to stay calm and make Ouma get better in no time

I went under the cover and lay down as I pulled Ouma close to me and his fingers are cold so I covered us with the blanket and kissed Ouma on the head 

"I love you Ouma-kun" I whispered

"I love y-you- *cough* too Saihara-chan" Ouma replied back

"Get some rest alright and tomorrow could be a day off for you but I need to go to school tomorrow" I said

"Okay" Ouma replied

Ouma put his head on my chest as he was getting warm a bit, I ran my fingers through his hair making him feel more comfortable and Ouma held my hand into his 

I smiled as I fell asleep with Ouma into my arms which I was happy to be with him again but this time I will show him how much I really love him...
