'What the fuck did he just call me?'
"Well, what is she really?" Lucifer's father asked.
Without giving it a second thought, I punched him hard right in the face. He fell back and onto the ground, grunting in pain.
'What am I doing?! Do I help him or just run?!'
Everyone was watching, it was all silent and motionless. I felt ill, I didn't like knowing that a whole bunch of strangers were looking at me, especially since half of them are probably dangerous people.
I looked over at Lucifer, he was.. smiling? I thought he would have an angry expression or something, but it was the complete opposite of that.
I'm not sure of what they have had against each other but it definitely wasn't anything good if he was acting like that, or maybe he just didn't care.
"You have no respect for your elders!" his father screamed at me from the floor.
"And you sir have no respect for women!" I screamed back at him out of anger, I shocked myself from my own words.
Oliver and Nicolas came running through the crowd surrounding us, Oliver's eyes were locked on Lucifer and Nicolas' eyes were locked on me.
"I have respect for women, just not for who—"
Lucifer had pulled a gun out and aimed it at his father, "Are you absolutely positive that you want to finish that sentence?"
I jumped back at the sight of the gun in his hand, looking up at his face. He showed no emotions, just the same rested face mixed with some hatred. He really didn't care if he killed his own father.
"Lucifer, put the gun away!" Oliver screamed as got closer but stopped once Lucifer had glanced at him.
"Touch me or scream at me again and you will be next, Oliver." he said in a low voice, no expression except seriousness on his face.
"Lucifer, please. Put it down, don't shoot him." Oliver begged in a calm tone, trying not to raise his voice.
As mad as I was, I didn't want him to kill his father like this. We were in a room full of people, how would they react to a unsuspected death right in front of their faces? I had already seen what he did to the man in the basement, I didn't want to see it happen again.
'He can't be that heartless.. right?'
I stared at Lucifer, trying to read his expression once again, but there was nothing left to read anymore. He took his focus off of Oliver and laid it on me, looking at my eyes that were just begging him not to do it.
"You said you wouldn't kill anyone." I said lowly.
"I won't kill him then. I said I would hurt anyone who got in your way though, I can shoot him but not kill him completely."
"Please.. don't do any harm."
"He hurt you."
"Getting called a whore isn't anything new to me. Please, Lucifer." I pleaded.
Lucifer looked back at his father, thinking about what he should do. He let out a sigh and put the gun pointing down by his side, Oliver ran up to his father and helped him back on his feet.
"Just get his ass out of my house, Oliver. As for you father, never come back or I won't hesitate to end your life." he ordered.
They both gave a nod and walked to the door, the room filling with whispering voices about the incident. I looked over at Nicolas, he walked over to me and held my hand. Lucifer looked over at Nicolas and down to our hands.
