"Oliver, what the fuck are you trying to say?"

His head hung down, an expression of shamefulness appearing on his face.

"I liked him." he repeated, taking in a deep breath before continuing, "When you asked me to come with you and distract him while you talked with Ella, I didn't think anything of it. But the more I talked with him, the more interested I felt in him."

"Why didn't you tell me this before? Did you feel ashamed?" I asked.

"Well yes but I also felt scared to tell you. I know how you felt about him before, and knowing about what just happened— I couldn't focus."

"I'm not mad at you." I reassured him, "And I give you my full support, thank you for practically coming out to me."

Oliver chuckled, smiling calmly. "Thank you for supporting me."

"So, which are you exactly? Are you gay or bisexual, something like that?" I asked.

"Bisexual. It took me a while to try and figure that out, but I finally did." he responded.

"Ah, okay. But I do need to talk with you about Nicolas, I know it's poor timing but I can't let you put yourself in danger. He's trying to gain our trust, and when he does, he will take us down."

"I know." he sighed, "I was just to stupid to see it. I heard a conversation he had with someone else, it sounded like Mr. Fields, your guard."

"The one we kept in the basement with Grayson? That makes sense as to how he managed to leave here alive then."

"Nicolas said something about a file, the rest wasn't audible. But from what I could hear, it contained information on both of us plus some of your men. I don't know why he has or needs it but if you want to stay out of danger, I suggest we find this file."

"Do you know who has this file?" I asked.

He hummed, trying to remember where this file had been located, "I think our best place would be his apartment, and if not there then Grayson must have it."

"Ella has a key to that apartment still, I will get it from her and we can go looking around for it. Not today though, we all need a break."

"Wow," Oliver said with a shock expression, "You actually know how to use the word 'break'?" he joked.

I chuckled a bit, bumping shoulders with him as we both started chuckling more. I missed this— this brotherly bond that we use to have.

Distancing myself from him was the worst thing I could have ever done, I missed out on so much just from that one choice. But I won't do it again, I'm promising myself that. He's my little brother, I need to show him how much he matters to me.

"Hey, Lucifer?"

"Yes?"

"Can we go out for dinner tonight?" he asked.

"Sure, I don't see why not. I'll tell Ella that we won't be here for the night then."

"No, bring her! I want it to be all of us, together. It would be nice to grow a healthy bond between the three of us, don't you think?"

"Oh? Well then sure, I'll go ask her if she would like to attend." I replied with a small smile.

We both got up from the bench. Oliver gave me a tight hug, "You're the best brother I will ever have, nothing can change that." he whispered.

I hugged him back tightly, feeling the sensation of happiness burst inside me. I loved my brother, he was there for me when I wasn't there for him. He's helping me change my ways, I couldn't ask for a better family member.

After a few seconds, we pulled away from each other and started walking back inside. I was feeling much better about everything, I didn't mess things us with the people I care most about.

I walked upstairs and opened the door to Ella's room. She had just walked out of her bathroom from what I could tell, covered in a towel with wet hair.

"Lucifer, knock!" she screamed when she saw me.

"It's nothing I haven't seen before, amore." I replied, closing the door behind me as I walked inside.

"I don't like to be taken by surprise like that, someone could have seen me if they were walking past here!"

"But no one did so you're fine, come here." I demanded.

She walked up to me, making sure her towel didn't fall off of her beautiful and perfect body. I cupped her face with my hand, admiring every bit of her beauty.

"You're so gorgeous, amore."

Ella's cheeks began to appear pink again, I loved the way my words effected this girl.

"Thank you. Why are you in here by the way?" she asked, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"Oliver invited us to go out for dinner with him tonight," I answered, wrapping my arms around her waist, "Would you be interested in going?"

"Sure, I'll go." she answered, pulling me down closer to her. I pulled her closer to me and kissed her, savoring every bit of her I could get. Her warm and soft lips hitting mine, it was the best feeling ever.

She pulled away, breaking the kiss with a smile on her face. "When are we leaving?"

"Soon, I suggest getting ready now."

"Alright, see you when I'm done." she replied, removing her arms from my neck and I removed mine from her waist.

I left her room and headed over to my own. I decided that I should also probably get ready since the both of them were already doing so. Sure, I was already dressed up for today but I had nothing better to do.

About 2 hours had passed by now. Everyone was in the car, waiting for us to get to the restaurant Oliver picked out for us. I sat in the front with my driver while the other two sat in the back.

"We have arrived." my driver announced.

The both of us got out of the car. I opened the door for Ella while my driver opened the door for Oliver. As we walked over to the entrance of the restaurant, I noticed how many people were looking at us. It didn't feel odd for me, people always stared.

I kept my hand on Ella's back, keeping her close with me. I wasn't a fan of people looking at what's mine, I was possessive. I got to her first fair and square, no one was taking her from me.

"Good evening, Sir. Do you have a reservation?" the woman at the counter asked Oliver.

Oliver told her everything she needed to know. The lady picked up some menus and led us to a booth upstairs with a beautiful view.

We all got seated and started talking about random subjects they picked. I still didn't like talking about unnecessary things, but this was the only way to grow a bond.

"What about you, Lucifer?" Ella asked, looking over at me with a glass of wine in her hand.

"My apologies, I was thinking about something. What was the question?" I asked, picking up my glass.

"Do you prefer pizza or pasta?" Oliver said.

I took a moment to think about my answer, "Pizza. It's just more nicer to eat than pasta is."

"I agree, pasta is also more messy to eat than pizza is. They both taste pretty good though, pizza still wins!" Ella said as she smiled.

This moment, this experience. This is what I have been missing for so long. I wanted nothing more and nothing less than this, I was happy and so were they. Laughs and giggles flowed all around us, it had been a while since I had this much fun with people.

Ella rested her head on my shoulder as she listened to Oliver tell a story. I placed my hand on her thigh, squeezing it lightly. She wrapped her arm around my arm, relaxing herself.

'I can't wait to ruin you when we get home.'
