"What?"

"I'm p-pregnant."

"Are you.. are you serious? This isn't a joke, right.?" I asked, my breath becoming unsteady.

Ella was standing in front of me, breaking down with her hands covering her mouth. I couldn't tell if she was upset or happy, I still couldn't believe what she had just told me.

She nodded her head, "I-I'm serious!"

I got up from the bed and just stared at her, still processing everything. I opened my arms of her and she instantly ran into them, crying into my chest loudly as I wrapped my arms around her.

My mind wasn't playing any tricks on me, it was right..

And now I finally got my confirmation.

Ella pulled away from my chest, looking up at me with a smile and tears still covering her eyes, "We're going to h-have a kid."

I was finally able to tell how she was feeling, she was happy about it. Tears started forming in my eyes as a smile began appearing on my face. Ella started laughing with tears still streaming down her face, making me do the same.

I held her close to my body, giving her a kiss on her head as she continued crying happily into my chest. She wrapped her arms around my body and squeezed me tightly with happiness.

I had been thinking for so long if I wanted to have a family with her, and now I'm actually going to have one with her. We both wanted this, we both wanted our own little family.

But.. were we ready for this?

"Oh my god I'm going to be a horrible mother—"

"And now we are going to sit down and talk about this." I interrupted.

I picked Ella up and and sat her down on the bed, sitting down next to her. We both took some time to gather our thoughts and start thinking about all of this properly.

"Last night.. that wouldn't have done anything to harm it.. right?"

Shit. During that time, the whole 'she might be pregnant' thing had just slipped my mind. I didn't understand how it did considering it hadn't left my mind for days, and now I was worried.

"I'm not sure, we can see a doctor for a check u—"

"Am I even fit to raise a child?" she asked, staring down at the floor.

"Of course you are, amore. You love and care for people, you can do that same thing for your own child."

"We don't have a healthy environment for it to live in, we live in a safe house that isn't even as safe as we say it is."

'Not for long.'

"Don't focus on those things right now, we'll work on everything for the baby soon. You're going to be an outstanding mother, I'm glad I get to have this child with you. I wouldn't want to have a family with anyone else but you."

Ella started crying more happy tears, getting closer to me. She grabbed my shirt and pulled me down, kissing my lips. I cupped her face and kissed her back, feeling her soft lips on mine was like heaven.

I finally pulled back and looked at her, "Do you plan on telling Oliver and Harrison?"

She nodded, "Maybe when we head downstairs I'll tell them.. I still have more questions about the child."

"What is it, piccola?"

"Are we going to have to teach it how to use guns and knives at such a young age? Are we homeschooling it? Are we even going to tell it about the mafia stuff?" she asked, trying her best not to go on and ramble about it.
