'Did I hear that correctly?'

I knew my father was ill, but I didn't know he was that ill. He's been battling disease left and right but somehow always managed to live through them, I guess he just got very unlucky this time.

This didn't change how I felt about him, I still hated him with a burning passion. He's never been around for me or Oliver, he's always off doing something that seemed to be more important than us.

Guess now I know where I got that from.

"Where are you guys?" I asked.

"Fathers house." Oliver answered.

"I'll be there in a few minutes." I said before hanging up the phone, cutting him off.

I looked over to Harrison, "We have to go, it's an emergency."

"What happened?" he asked with a concerned look on his face.

"I'll explain in the car, go." I replied, pointing over at the exit.

He gave me a nod and started walking over to the exit. I looked over at the rest of my men who had all been silent the entire time. I tried to think on something they could do while I'm gone.

"Get whatever information you need out of these two while I'm gone." I ordered, walking over to Damian.

"Uccidili dopo." I whispered in his ear.
(Kill them afterwards)

"Will do, sir." they all replied.

I gave one final glance at Pedro and Rose before leaving the warehouse. Harrison pulled up in front of the entrance and waited until I got in the car.

"Where are we heading?" he asked.

"My fathers house, you know the address already." I answered, slamming the car door shut.

And with that, he began driving to my fathers mansion.

During the drive, all I could think about was the amount of things that could happen while visiting my father. He knows I have aggressive feelings towards him, that's why he always messed around with me so much.

I still didn't forgive him nor did I want anything to do with him but I figured it wouldn't hurt to at least say goodbye before he was gone. I wasn't sure on how long he had left to live, that's why I never cared to clear the air between us. I didn't think it would be this soon.

I snapped myself out of my thoughts, looking out the car window. We seemed to be getting closer to the mansion. My warehouses were pretty far from any public areas, even my own home. It was about thirty minutes away.

"This is it, we're here." Harrison announced.

He parked the car in the garage, "You stay here while I talk to my father. Don't go anywhere or I will find you and send you right back to Grayson, understand?"

"Yes, sir. I hope everything goes well in there."

I ignored his words and got out the car, slamming the door shut. I walked up to the mansion doors and put in the code my father set up, walking inside without a problem.

Oliver came running down the stairs with worry smeared all over his face.

"L—"

"Just tell me where he is so I can go back to my business." I interrupted.

He sighed, trying not to get frustrated with me, "He's upstairs in his room, sir."

I nodded and shoved him out the way, heading upstairs. I didn't take my time. Not because I 'wanted' to see him, but because I wanted to get back to work so I could get home a lot faster.
