"How could I let something like this happen to her again?! I promised her that I would keep her safe and now she's been taken by some prick!" I shouted.

"It wasn't your fault, she was just pulled into a trap. We're going to find her, Lucifer." Oliver said.

"Of course we're going to find her, I just don't want to find her hurt or even worse, dead."

"You won't find her dead, calm do—"

I slammed my fist on my desk to shut him up, "Don't fucking tell me to calm down, Oliver. She's my everything and I can't risk losing her, I need to know she's okay."

Yesterday when Ella had left the table to take that call, I continued talking with her mother. But after a few minutes, she had never come back so I went to go check up on her while her mother stayed behind.

Only did I see her phone on the floor, no sign of her anywhere. I had called out her name, but I got no response back, so I unlocked her phone and looked at who she was calling. It was an unknown number, the call didn't even last long.

I had checked her messages and saw a text from that number and opened it, seeing a picture of all of us eating and chatting at the table. So, whoever took her was stalking us since we got there, and I was determined to find out who.

I had to tell her mother that she left early when I went back to the table to pay the bill. She said she would give her a call soon and took off after we said our goodbyes.

"Your detective is trying to track down that number that called her phone, we just have to wait until we get a location from it." he said calmly.

I sighed and ran my hand through my hair, "No one rest until she's found, get my men to any area near that restaurant and find her."

"On it, Sir." Oliver said before leaving to go and make some calls to a few of my men.

I slumped back into my chair, trying to figure out who could have taken her. I was sure it had something to do with Grayson and his men, but I needed some kind of confirmation before making any other moves. Until then, I needed to find a starting point to find her.

I called up the restaurant that we ate at, trying to see if anyone had any sign of her. It rang for a few seconds until finally someone answered me. I asked them if they had seen anyone that fit Ella's description, they said no. But they have cameras and they were willing to let me check them to see if I could spot her.

I thanked them and hung up the phone, letting out a sigh. I texted Harrison before grabbing my suit jacket and put it on, sliding a gun into the holder attached to my pants and walking out my office.

"Oliver!" I called out.

"Be right there!" he shouted back, running down the stairs until he reached me, "Did you need something, Sir?"

"I'm going out to the restaurant to check on the security footage from last night, make sure to give me any information someone gives you."

He gave me a nod and took out his phone, calling up a few more men as I walked away. The guards open the door for me, Harrison already pulled up with the car. I walked up to the car and opened the door, jumping right in.

"Same place as last night?" he asked, beginning to drive.

"Correct."

The drive was silent and long, painful almost. All that was in my head was Ella, how scared she probably was. I knew she was strong, but when it came to these kind of things, I was a bit doubtful.

I had planned on teaching her how to use that gun I had given her, she was so eager to learn how to use it correctly. I was starting to wish I had taught her sooner, knowing these kinds of things were bound to happen.
