The drive was nice a quiet, thank god for that. I really didn't have any energy left in me to keep hold of a conversation, it's not like he would talk to me anyways.
I'm starting to wonder if I did something to him without noticing, maybe that's the reason he doesn't talk much.
Did I insult him in some way? Probably, I always have something to say about people I didn't know very well. I'm not really the type of person to think before I speak, I usually just blurt stuff out of my mouth.
"We're home." Lucifer said, taking me out of my thoughts.
I looked up from the window expecting to see his mansion, but I saw my apartment instead. It's about time since he let me come back to my home, I wonder what Nicolas was doing the whole time.
He got out the car and walked around it, opening my door for me.
"So, you're finally letting go of your hostage?" I joked.
"I will close this door and take you back to my place, punishing you in ways you can't imagine. Do you want to get out now?" he asked with a serious face.
'No, no I don't.'
"Yeah, if you would move out the way though."
He held out his hand and helped me up out of the car, shutting the door behind me. His hand wrapped around my waist, I already felt butterflies again. Every time he gave me the slightest touch it just didn't something to me.
We walked up to my door and stopped. I knocked on the door to see if Nicolas was still there, the sounds on the other side of the door gave me my answer.
The door opened quickly with Nicolas on the other side of it, "Oh my god, Ella! Welcome ba—", he cut himself off as soon as he saw Lucifer.
"Good afternoon, Nicolas."
"Good afternoon, Lucifer. Are you come in?" he asked hesitantly.
"I think I've bothered Ella enough for a few days, I will let you guys go. Have a good rest of your day, Nicolas." he said, taking his arm off my waist and turning to me.
"As for you, I will see you soon. Behave yourself, Ella.", he kissed my forehead and walked off.
My face started to turn red, skin warming up from his touch. I loved the small affectionate thing he did to me, even if it wasn't meant to seem affectionate.
We both watched as he walked back to his car, instantly looking back at each other when he drove off. Nicolas grabbed my wrist and dragged me into the house.
"Please don't tell me you guys are dating or some shit already." he said, locking the front door.
"What kind of a question is that?! No, we aren't dating!" I screamed.
"Thank the gods, why did he keep you for so damn long then?" he asked.
That one question made me have flashbacks to the time we had together. The pleasurable moments, the chats, everything. I had never felt anything that good before, Lucifer was sure as hell gifted.
"He just wanted to get too know me better, that's all." I answered, walking past him and into the kitchen.
'I think he knows a little too much about me now.'
"What did you guys even talk about?" he asked, following me to the kitchen.
"Stuff.. just stuff." I responded, grabbing a glass and placing it under the faucet.
Nicolas grabbed my face and made me look at him, we locked eye contact for a solid 30 seconds or so before he finally said something, "You're lying."
"Okay okay, sit down. I'll tell you everything that happened then I'm going to bed right after."
