I walked down to the kitchen but already hearing flirty giggling noises upstairs from Cassy and Ross. She's cooking the pancake while Ross is looking stupid standing next to Cassy with flour in the tip of his nose and they both find that what?-funny? Where? Which part?

"Good morning Reese" Cassy greets as I make myself sit uncomfortably in the dining chair.

After watching them cooking like they were on some love islands teaser we finally sat in Ross car and had to endure the whole scene after finally being out of that nasty vehicle.

Well as for Jace, I was a little bit surprised for not seeing her around the house as she usually is.

"Hello there lovey dovey" Eve is approaching with Steph and Jules in her side "How's your date with Mr. Dimple?"

I rolled by eyes to her statement then opening my locker door to shove things "We're friends" I say between arranging my stuff.

Eve leaned against the locker next to mine with her gaze pinning to me while beaming a teasing smile "You let him kiss you didn't you sneaky girl"

Shutting close the locker and hugging my book, I divert to her "We didn't do anything. What we are is pure friendship" and walked with them in the canteen since we still have time before the first class.

I sat to my usual, but noticing Jace in the next table with Ross, Cassy and her Jade. She didn't even glance.

"Is pure friendship includes flexing your stolen shots and mini clip videos in social?" Eve asking Steph and Jules for second motion.

"Reese" every nerve in me focuses to Jace calling out my name

"Yyeah?" and when did I start stuttering?

There's still no other emotion in her face but blank stares, where's my usual teasing lines? Or making fun at me?

"Patricks gonna be your tutor" she flatly said then focusing back to her iPad.

Steph is looking to me and before they could see my dismay reaction, I shrugged then say "Great" in response to her cold demeanor.

Eve keep talking random stuffs while I glance to Jade and Jace being close to each other while they're both busy in Jace iPad.

The bell finally rang, indicating the first class is about to start in 5 minutes. We all hurriedly pick our things and went to separate room.

I have shared my personal problem yet I had to solve this problem using the given formula.

Looking to all of them being busy with partner, I raised my hand and told Ms. Water that I need the restroom.

She lightly lift her eyeglass, looking to me before nodding and telling me 'be quick'.

Toilet is just my excuse since I don't want her to caught me sleeping again in her class and make me clean the stinky backstage room.

I looked into my reflection in the mirror but noticing a feet in one of the cubicle.

The sneaker looks familiar plus I hear sobbing.

"Jess?" I called.

The sob stops and heard her sniffing then blowing her nose.

"Hey you alright?" I asked, walking towards her cubicle.

She sniff again before responding "I'm fine go away Reese"

I'm about to knock her door but then sensing her mad voice towards me.

"Are you really okay Jess?" I asked once again because I knew something is wrong "Did those fuckers do something to you?"

I can hear my own voice trembling for asking that question. I never want to repeat what happened before in Adelaide.

My feet steps back when the door suddenly slammed in the wall then seeing her swollen eyes "Yeah Reese you were right okay? I'm a loser and I dreamed so high in hope to fit in, but I can't okay? I'm a joke! Is that what you want to hear?" She walk passed me then bumping my shoulder purposefully and watch her exiting the restroom in rage.

I stand there dumbfounding of what did I do wrong?

Picking my phone in pocket, I message Silver for comfort.

Me: I'm having the worst day!

Hit send then walking in the direction of the door but seeing Jace unexpectedly.

"Can you stop cutting class? Do you know it's annoying of how every time you're missing they're asking me about your whereabouts and to go find you??" She state very irritatedly.

Why is everyone so mad at me today? What did I do wrong??

But her words hurts. Of all the people, I least expected her to say that I'm such a burden.

"I'm busy and had to babysit" she muttered before walking out.

Bitting my lower lip after looking up the ceiling for holding back the ruffling tears but then followed Jace in the empty hallway.

"Then don't" I said, making her stop in mid walk then turning to me "Cut all your connections to me, my name, my existence and everything that connects me to yours! And I'm so sorry if you're so busy for Jade and I unintentionally ruined your time!"

"This is not about Jade. She's out of this" That felt like an ice bucket was poured to me.

And the feeling I had two years back when I saw her with Zoey comes back which I hate. I hate feeling that way, I hate the feeling of why it makes your chest tight without knowing the reason.

"I hate you" is the words I said before turning back and walking the opposite.
