"i'm leaving in 10 minutes" billie swallows hard, looking at henry. his eyes widened, as he looked up from his computer.

he didn't know what to say, where could billie possibly go? the rent had been paid, and he couldn't quite understand how billie had gotten so much money so fast.

his wife had acted so weird these past couple of days. it was like billie had turned into another person. a person he couldn't recognize.

"going where?" he muttered, stuffing some popcorn in his mouth. it was salty, and buttery. leaving his fingers greasy.

"i'm not quite sure actually, but i'll be staying there for a while" he looked at what billie was wearing in pure disgust.

she was wearing a red tight dress, with black heels. there was a suitcase in her hand, some of her hair covering her cheeks.

"what do you mean you're not sure?" henry puts his laptop on the couch, standing up. was billie really about to go cheat on him?

"it was the only way to get the money, and it wasn't like you wanted to help me! just be thankful that i'm doing this, so your ass won't get kicked out!"

"billie!" he starts walking up to her, but leaving a good amount of space in between them. "what the fuck did you do?"

she takes her eyes of him. the only thing she can see while looking at him, is the look he had on his face while he hit her. the satisfaction on his face.

"i sold myself" his mouth drops, and she can feel the anger come out of him. maybe he didn't like the thought of it. but billie found it very exciting.

if she was truly honest with herself. someone owning her made her insides bubble. she loved the thought of it. but she wasn't about to admit that.

"are you fucking stupid?" henry shouted, taking his hand in his hair frustratingly. his eyes closed tightly, a hash breathing coming from his mouth.

"apparently" billie muttered, sighing before she spoke up again. "but i've already signed it, and i'll only be gone for like two weeks off every month. and it pays the bills"

henry shook his head, his lips tightening into a thin line. "your father will never approve of this" their eyes met.

there was a small smirk on her lips, as she turned her head to the side. "glad i'm an adult then, and he can't control my life. and i won't let him do it anymore"

billie was done with his bullshit. she was changing her life. and maybe it was for the better. maybe it was for the worse.

if she was honest she didn't care. as long as she got away from henry. got her freedom. and didn't have to spend all her time working shitty jobs.

she hated everything about her life. billie was making the change she needed. making her life more exciting.

she didn't know if she was coming back. she guessed that she had to. but after all she knew she would always have to go back to malice.

"god, you're one stupid woman" she was about to respond, but just as so her phone vibrated in her pocket.
