Chapter Two

Gabriella's POV:

You know those pack house were all the pack members stay but an customized house where the alpha would stay?

That's how my pack is and I mostly stay with my father in his customized house.

Only when I don't want to look at him I go to the pack house and stay.

Everyone there is way nicer than him.

I wanted fresh air so I went to the back of the house where there's infinite forest.

I walked into it and let my wolf out.

Everyone who had never seen my wolf are always confused.

From my family line all the wolves are black or dark grey, even some of the females don't get to transform as it's rare for alpha females.

But my wolf takes the wacko to another level.

'Hey! '

Sorry.

My wolf is black, yes. But some patches of white are in the edge of my tail, two paws... One back left and one in the front right and a patch of white around my left eye.

Unique huh?

I took a brief run to the training ground where all the warriors train.

I ran passed there and all around the trees and back to the house were I transformed into my self again.

I walked all naked to my room and took a bath.

Put on my grey matching sweat shirt and pants.

It was all quiet and calm until Lynne badged in.

"Geez girl you scared the fuck out of me! " I said as I jumped slightly due to the shock she gave me.

"I want to tell you something horrible!! " she said as she sat on my bed at her own accord.

"What is it? " I asked tiredly.

"The Games are starting next week, same day as your birthday! " she said.

Oh god, I haven't really thought about that.

You see, The Games is were all wolves who are not mated yet participate in, in hopes to find their mates.

The games are random there and like every year random girls get bitten by either their mate or strangers and they have to live with that.

Like me every year in my birthday my father always sign me up in hopes to have a strong alpha as my mate.

Ugh and I always come back empty handed.

And that's the day of my birthday!

It's brutal!

"I don't think he'll be signing me up this year. " I said shrugging.

"Why do you think so? " she asked.

"Well maybe because I always disappoint him and come back without a bite mark? " I answered with a question.

"Well that sounds reasonable, but do you know how dreading Blake use to be whenever you go? " she asked. "It's hilarious! " she burst out laughing.

I sighed and face palmed myself.

She's gonna be the death of me one day.

Then the house maid walks in and bowed to both me and Lynne.

"Miss you father requests for you in his office. " she said gently.

Great.

"I think he wants to sign you up. " Lynne said laughing again.

"Thanks for telling me, I'll be there. " I said to her and then told the maid.

She nods and left the room.

I nudged Lynne in the hands and signalled for her to wait here for me.

I might come back angry and maybe use her as my human punch bag or come back with happy news and laugh on with her.

Goddess knows.

I walked through multiple hallways and reached my father office.

I knocked and heard him say come in so I walked in.

"You called for me. " I said bowing to him.

"Yes, you know The Games are starting next week on your birthday as always. " he started. "I wanted to strike a deal with you. " he added.

Gosh no.

"And what's that? " I asked.

'We're not interested.' Ashley said sarcastically.

"Well you seem to be having problems in finding your mate so I want to give you three choices. " he said. "You either come back already bitten or come back with your mate....or you bond with Blake, my Betas son. " he said.

What the...

"No way, you know I can't come back randomly bitten, I'll go insane and if I come back with my mate it will feel weird. I still don't know why you need me to even have one!! And I don't want to bond with someone I don't even like!! " I said yelling.

"Young lady you did not just yell at me!! My decision is final and you will do any of those choices I have given you! " he said and signalled for me to leave.

I left slamming the door as hard as I can.

What makes him think I'll even come back when I go the The Games, huh?

Am gonna run away and never come back. Make it be with my mate or not.
