-Akai! Yelled Pyrex.

-Oh, Pyrex! Hey! We were waiting for you! Replied the young bloodthorn.

-I was wondering something... Have you ever heard a song that went a bit like this...

He tipped his fingers down on the counter to match the rhythm of the lullaby.

She looked at him confused.

-If I ever heard that?

-Yeah, Have you?

-Hmm... What a weird timing to ask me about that...

-Ehe, I know.

-I have never heard it... Is it a trick question?

Pyrex looked at her, surprised.

-Wait. You NEVER heard that? He Asked.

Aoi was laughing in the back.

-I told you, Doggy.

He got closer to Pyrex and started petting his head mockingly.

-Stop! Are you annoying me on purpose? Don't call me Doggy and don't pet me like that, It hurts- Is everyone here just pulling a big prank on me Right now? Aoi is just being suspiciously annoying. Someone, either Cecilia or Akai, is sending me annoying letters and Xerenade brings me to a storage room alone with Aoi and Aeryx, ARE YOU DOING THAT ON PURPOSE?

He stopped to take his breath.

-If you are, it's not funny! You're stressing me out, I swear! Not to mention that weird chick looked at me as if I had rabies, You all know I CAN'T STAND THAT! I CAN'T stand it when people look at me like if I was the odd one out, YOU'RE DOING IT ON PURPOSE, AREN'T YOU? I, first off, DID NOT ask to be a Kitsune, and even less a royal one at that, and BECAUSE OF THAT, I can't go ANYWHERE without having to hide in dusty corners and getting tormented by Akai and Aoi calling me pet names while I have to deal with random letters from my dad! It's not a comedy act when I'm stressing out!

He quickly ran out of the cafe.

-Pyrex! Wait a second, I'm sorry! Yelled Aoi

The young fox started raging as he opened the door. The apartment was barely a few buildings away, but he had to be quick. He didn't want anyone to see him at all.

He reached for his keys and smashed the door open. Another pack of letters was sent, but there weren't any stamps on it. It was clearly put there by the sender.

As he was about to kick them, he noticed something. They smelled awfully like Solitude Bells. Way too much. Not as if a few pollen particles were stuck on it, It was more like if a whole plant was on it.

The smell calmed him down a little, but he was still mad. Mad at everything and everyone. With the few strength he had left, he got to his room and laid down on his bed.

He couldn't think straight. "Do they find the fact that I get mad at everything entertaining? Being a Circus act is even worse than being a king in Kitsuneyō... Argh... That's awful. Maybe I'm just overreacting..."

He took a deep breath to calm down. He was getting more and more tired.

" I should fix that letter problem before too much Solitude Bell pollen enters the house."

He exited his room and went carefully towards the kitchen. The window was easier to access from there without encountering the big package. He snatched the letters from the window frame, and looked outside.

"Uh? The others aren't even here. They just let me go like that? That's odd. Maybe they were putting up an act and are probably laughing at me..."

He wanted to get mad at them but he couldn't. Even without being near the package, he could still smell the Solitude Bells, and that tired him way too much to get angry at anything.
