Pyrex was dozing off as the people started walking in. He got off the throne, and walked behind it. He still saw Kai, Eichi, Miyuki, and who he assumed was Yuu. The prince made sure they didn't see him as he sat down on the ground, rolling his earrings around his finger.
"They're here for favors I bet."
He poked his head at the people coming in.
-Is it not a safety concern? Why let so many people in here for the crowning? Ai asked King Chi.
-I trust your doctor and nurse friends to take care of it afterwards. I'm retired, you know.
Ai growled and walked away, furious.
-That ignorant meathead...
Pyrex watched the nurse close the door to the palace's interior.
He turned back and tried to spot his siblings, who promptly stood in front of the door. The Prince ran towards them.-PRIC, OLI, AURA!
The three looked at him.
-Hey...
Prichra was wearing a black dress with a ebene lace veil, holding a red lycoris bouquet, while Oliver wore a black suit. Aura simply wore a black dress.
-Ugh, Prichra sweetie, you look like you're attending a funeral... Said Fleur.
-It's kinda it, you know. She whispered, morose.
-Come on! Don't be jealous because you're not the queen. That's not how I raised you.
She growled and burst into tears.
-IT'S NOT THAT! YOU... YOU DON'T KNOW. You can't know! I told myself it was fine, Pyrex was leaving for good, but there was still a small hope that he wouldn't, and ugh... as time passed by that hope died down. He's gone. Maybe that demon already took over! Pyrex, you don't know how it works exactly, we deduced it was the crown itself but we don't know for sure!
Fleur looked at them, confused.
-There's something you guys know that I don't. Who took over, and what's wrong with the crown? More importantly... Pyrex is still here. He is not leaving.
Oliver sighed.-Prichra, keep your mouth shut, for ONCE. You're confusing her with all the details!
-Yeah! Girl, act like everything is fine. Added Aura.
Prichra kneeled down.-Not again... I don't want to say goodbye again... The lie Cecilia told, Cecilia's arrest, and now this... Can we just be like when I was 14? When Pyrex had a super huge ego, when Cecilia called everyone peasants, and we all had absolutely nothing to worry about? Like, at all? And our biggest worry was gods destroying the town in our imagination? When Yuji still loved me? When everyone still liked me? And respected me?
-Oh, so ego means being annoying and full of yourself? Asked Aura.
Pyrex gave his older sister a death stare.
-Prichra, sweetie... If everyone treats you like they do right now, it's because you have to fix your manners.
The Purple eyed heir didn't reply.
-Pric, you're confusing mom too much. We get your point, but still. Sighed Oliver.
King Chi called Pyrex over to the throne.
-Oh... Goodbye, you guys.
Oliver gave him a fake smile and thumbs up, while Aura looked down and Prichra screamed, in tears.
Pyrex ran over to the throne."It's the end in Hisao's eyes. But I'll prove him wrong... I... I might not. I'll believe for everyone's sake..."
The people he passed in front of either bowed or cheered. At the end of the trail, he sat on the throne.
A mysterious Kitsune with black and red hair cleared his throat. His long cape flew in the wind, and he averted his gray eyes towards Pyrex.
