Chapter 12

Pyrex didn't move an inch either. A few people were sitting near someone. That someone was on the ground. And that someone was Oliver.

-What the heck? Asked Pyrex. he didn't even push back Aoi who had hugged him, seeing his reaction.

-That's your brother, right? He asked, sliding his fingers in the Kitsune's hair.

Pyrex nodded silently as Cecilia fell on her knees.

-Please... No...

-Is he dead? Asked Xerenade.

-I don't know, let's check. Replied Lorela. Cecilia got up and they all ran towards the Kitsune.

-IS HE DEAD?! Yelled Cecilia.

A few people shrugged as a guard pushed them back. He had baggy eyes and was obviously very tired, so Cecilia just stepped back.

Pyrex stomped the ground nervously as Aoi put his hand on his shoulder.

-WHAT ARE YOU GUYS WAITING FOR?! Asked Cecilia.

The guard pointed to the door as King Chi, who was grabbing Ai by the collar, released the nurse, followed by Queen Fleur who ran in panic towards her eldest son.

-OLIVER, OH MY, OH NO, AI DO SOMETHING!

Pyrex's mom was as extravagant as last time he saw her. She almost tripped in the stairs in her overly high shoes and she sat down next to the white haired heir.

-Weren't there a bunch of people here like 30 minutes ago? Did it really take 30 minutes for them to arrive? Asked Xerenade.

Ai sat down miserably as she put a finger on Oliver's neck and on his wrist.

-I think he's still breathing!

King Chi looked at his wife and Ai from the stairs, standing at the very entrance. He visibly didn't care more than that.

Fleur took her son in her arms as Ai helped her carry him back inside.

-WAIT, THAT'S ALL? THEY JUST CARRY HIM BACK? Yelled Cecilia.

Aura, who was there, walked to them, sucking on a lollipop.

-Oh, well I heard Oliver walk out of his room around 50 minutes ago. When I walked out of my room he just said "I'm going to see dad." And I'm curious so I followed him. I listened to... uh... the conversation and they screamed a lot. I didn't hear much and the words I heard well I didn't recognize them. Stuff like "Blackmail" and "firing" and "con... Uh... "Constitute shion?"

Cecilia looked at her older sister.

-Constitution?

-Yeah, that! So, Oliver ran out, angry, with his face like, really red, and he stopped to catch his breath before just leaving the Palace, so I followed him, but he fell down and didn't get up.

Cecilia looked at Aura.

-Lord, we have to see what he has.

-Yeah. Replied Pyrex.

The group and Aura all rushed towards the stairs.
King Chi looked at Aoi and Lorela.

-Who are they?

Cecilia and Pyrex looked at eachother.

-Uh, Well, Lorela Melisma, she's a Seraph Kitsune and she lives here, and he's Aoi, the brother of the red Bloodthorn that was with us last time. Replied Cecilia

-Speaking of which, where is she? That Bloodthorn.

-She's supposed to be at the Claw market by now... Said Pyrex, trying his best to make the lie sound convincing.
