You watch as Haley thanks him for the dance, then branches off, likely going to grab drinks. You take this time to approach him, your future at 100T on the line.

"Let's just hope Nade doesn't hold a grudge..." You think.

"Hey... Matt. Is there any chance we could talk? Just for a second?" You ask.

He nods, "Of course."

"I just wanted to say sorry. I was being a bit irrational before and I should've considered your offer some more..."

He shakes his head.

"Nah, you fuckin' shouldn't have. It was a shitty deal from the start... I should be apologizing. Especially since you had the guts to stand up for yourself and know your worth"

Holy shit. That went better than expected.

"So... What does that mean then?"

"It means, I've got a new offer for you. But we should probably talk about this elsewhere. The VIP room should be free, you wanna talk this through?"

He leads you to a back room, somehow even fancier than the last. You take a seat at a lone booth and he goes more into detail.

"Okay, hear me out this time..."

"Will do" you chuckle.

"Okay. So we were thinking, what about a base salary of $75,000? On top of that, there's the normal 100T benefits, like health and life insurance. Also, 100 Thieves will provide housing for you, with a budget of $10,000 rent a month, your choice..."

"This sounds... Actually great so far!" You add.

"I'm not done yet. We want you to not only film and direct a few short film series with our creators, but we also want you to film all of the skits for the main channel videos and such..."

"Okay, I would love to."

"One last thing..." Matt adds.

"Yes?"

"You have an actual personality. So far, everyone who's met you has had only great things to say about you. And believe me, I've been asking around. We want you to stream as well! We will provide the setup for you, you'll just have to meet a monthly quota."

"Okay... Why'd the offer change so drastically? If you don't mind me asking...?"

"Well, I've come to terms with the fact that we aren't going to find a videographer better than you, and anyone even close would be too dull to work with. You're worth every penny, Y/n. Not to mention... Rae kinda put in a good word for you."

"Of course she did..."

He smiles, but you can tell he's holding something back.

"Hey uh...Y/n?"

"Yeah?"

"Listen, I can tell she has... Feelings for you. I don't know if you've noticed, but she really likes you. Just... Please make sure you don't mess it up. I'd usually advise against co-workers dating, but... Shes had a rough few past relationships and I've never seen her look at anyone like this..."

"I-"

"You don't have to say anything. Just promise me you'll do right by her?"

"I-I promise."

"Good. Thank you. I just... I needed to make sure... All set though?"
