The party is basically over by now and you witness most everyone leave. Of course, they all say goodbye whilst their leaving.

You feel overwhelmed with everything that had occurred that night. You try to reminisce in the events, but quickly realize that Nade was nowhere to be found.

It settled in that you now we're very unsure of where you're supposed to stay the night. Nade was supposedly suppose to give you keys to a hotel room, but now it was pretty obvious he likely had too much to drink.

"Heyy there"

You turn around to see Neeko, still pretty buzzed. She's the last one at the party and you caught her right before she left.

She notices your anxious demeanor and asks, "what's wrong?"

You just shake your head, "It's really nothing...I'll figure it out."

She nods her head, understanding the situation.

"Did Matt forget you?"

"I-I don't know. No, I don't think so...I hope..."

She giggles, very cutely at that.

"He does this...alot. He's a good guy but he gets carried away. He did the exact thing to me when I first joined..."

You nod. It feels a bit better knowing this was a normality, to know you didn't just mean nothing.

"Anyways...you need a place to stay then?" She asks.

"Oh, nah, I'll get a hotel. It's okay."

She doesn't budge, "Y/n, I'm still a bit buzzed. I'm not gonna drive home til I feel sober enough. I would rather you just drive me and stay in my guest room. It's not a big deal, trust me."

Flattered, you're still unsure. "Are you sure??"

She just shakes her head, "Oh my fucking God, just take a pretty girl home will you?"

Flustered instead of flattered, you answer back, "okay, okay."

Now outside, you guys make way to her parked car. She tosses you the keys as you reach a stationary white BMW. You'd never driven a car this lavish, this expensive.

Very quickly after pulling out, she starts asking questions after question.

"Y/n, where are you from?"

"Michigan" you answer.

"Ain't it cold there? Like really, really cold?" She asks.

"Very much so. It's a nice change of pace here in LA"

She nods, "I bet"

It's quiet for all of 5 seconds before she speaks up again.

"Are you a virgin?"

"No" you answer.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"I'm pretty sure..."

"Well when we were dancing earlier, you seemed shook. Like you'd never done anything like that before..."

You don't respond for a second. How do you even respond to that?

"I-"

Another short period of silence.

"My mind was on something else..."

You glance over for a second, her eyes are locked on you.

"Something else? Or someone else? She asks.

"Was it that obvious?"

She smiles, finally starting to seemingly sober.

"Every guys eyes are on Rae, I don't blame you, Y/n."

"But she's still single? Why?"

She shrugs, "she's a bit of a sweetheart. I think she's waiting until she's sure or something...idk"

You nod. You guys stay relatively quiet for the next 10 minutes, an occasional few words shared but nothing too interesting.

You follow her directions until you eventually reach her house. Now parked, you glance over at her, expecting her to glance back. However, she's slumped over, laying on her door. She had literally just been awake a second ago.

You give her a tap on the shoulder. She shows slight consciousness, but stays slumped. You sigh, realizing you were probably going to have to carry her inside.

And so you do. You unbuckle her seatbelt and carry her up the path to her front door. Lucky for you, she happened to not lock her door that night. Though you were definitely gonna need to remind her to do otherwise going forward.

Entering her home, you find a new-found appreciation for interior designers of LA. It's actually insane how nice some of these influencer homes have become. You strive for something this grand.

You carry her to her bed, or atleast you hoped it was. There were quite a few rooms, but this one seemed the most well put together. You lay her down and pull the covers up over her shoulders. She's peaceful now.

You make way to the door but stop abruptly as you feel a cold, small hand grab your forearm.

"Stay with me.." she says.

You want to, really. To spend the night with her would be a dream come true. But she was in no way able to consent at her state, no matter the amount of sobering she had done.

"You're still drunk. I'll see you in the morning."

"Pleasssseee" she begs.

"Goodnight" you say, turning off the light and closing the door. She falls back asleep very quickly, confirming your thoughts of her current state.

You find the nearest spare bedroom and fall onto the bed. All the adrenaline running through your veins had faded by now. You had a productive day and the next, you would do a shoot with one of your favorite creators. You made a lot of good first impressions today, and stayed strong whilst everyone else drank around you. Everything was finally coming together again. You felt genuine pride for yourself, for being able to pick yourself back up and pounce on the opportunity of a lifetime. You fell asleep quickly, and for once, your heart felt calm. You fell asleep that night with your worries fading.

And the next few would be the same. Life was finally coming together. Though the next morning would be even more...eventful ;)
