This chapter is a bit longer to make up for the little break I took. Hope you guys enjoy!! (It gets hot!)

A morning brew of coffee was exactly what you needed to get your day started right. You sat at the dining room table, sipping your coffee and scrolling Twitter.

And for the first time since you moved in, you were actually the first one up, so you made sure to brew enough for the both of you.

As Rae enters the room, you stand to pour her a glass of coffee. Pouring it into her favorite cup, you hand her the glass.

"Who said chivalry was dead?" She jokes.

You chuckle and lean up against the counter, beginning to scroll through your messages once again.

"How'd you sleep?" She asks.

You're still mainly focused on your phone, but you answer:

"Oh, uh... pretty well I guess..."

She nods.

"Got any plans?" She asks.

You nod, still focused on your phone.

"Oh, okay. Anything cool?" She asks.

Realizing that you were sorta being rude, you put down your phone and at least made eye contact whilst answering her this time, giving her your full attention.

"Um... Well, I'm joining Andrea Botez for a stream in like an hour..." you say.

"Fun. Just a stream or are you hoping for something more?" She asks.

You smile.

"You're really okay with this harem thing, huh."

"I mean... yeah, sorta. Its new, its exciting. I don't know..." she says.

"I get it. I hope you know that no matter what, I love you, more than I could love anyone else. Anytime you feel even slightly uncomfortable, please let me know... okay?"

She nods, "Okay, Y/n..."

You accept her response and focus back on your phone, messaging Andrea to confirm the two of you were still on for today.

She responds pretty quickly, so you gather a few of your things before leaving.

"They live a decent bit away so I'm probably gonna leave early. You want me to grab anything on my way home?" You ask.

"Uhhh... No, I think we're good. You have fun" she says.

You smile and nod, giving her a wave and blowing a kiss as you exit through the doorway.

Making your way to your car, you enter your Bronco, sticking the key into the ignition and turning it to allow for the engine to roar to a start.

Backing out of the driveway, you make sure to use your mirrors as well as turning your head to check for oncoming traffic. When you're sure you're clear, you pull out (ayo) and take off on your way to the Botez home.

On the open road, you connect your phone to the radio via bluetooth and start playing music. The first song to come on is "The Night we Met" by Lord Huron, a song you knew all too well.

It was smooth and chill, laid back enough for you just to mumble the words and focus on the road. But it told a story, one you fixiated on heavily.

It made you think of how endlessly and hopelessly you had fallen in love with Rae. You had good times, and ever since meeting, the two of you seemed to hit it off well.

But the song told a story of love fading, and an eventual seperation. You never even thought of a reality in which you and Rae didn't work out. You just didnt believe it to be probable, let alone possible.
